How to Get Your Movie into a Film Festival!

Thursday, November 15th, 2012 – running time 08:45

Today, Ryan sluts it up a bit again to show the final two effects we will talk about from our Bloodtober finale. Plus, he shows how he got "TELL" into a film festival, and how you can easily get your process started as well.

Due to popular demand, Ryan shows off the final two effects he used from the Bloodtober finale. First, he shows you a couple easy ways to give a demonic glow to your actors' eyes. Next, he shows you how to literally cut it close, with out hacking off a limb. Finally, Ryan submitted his film to the Tribeca Film Festival and shows you just how easy it is to get your film submitted too!

Once you're done, check out our Film Riot Twitter for updates on the latest movie news and filmmaking tips.

You can also follow Ryan's personal Twitter for more fun stuff, including the occasional behind the scene look at what goes on while making the show.

And of course the Facebook. Because it's a blasty.

And if you have an idea for an effect that you'd like to see made into an episode, shoot us an email at filmriot@revision3.com
