Even when you don´t have a garden, there is no need to buy dried basil. Chives, parsley and paticularly basil grow nice and easy on a windowsill. It is easier to buy the ready basil in a pot than cultivating it from the seed on. Just put the plants in a bigger pot and dont forget to water it :-)

4 Pita breads

4 tsp Olive oil

1 tin of chick peas

2 Lemons

2 Cloves garlic

2 Sprigs of Rosemary

4 Lamb steaks (OR chops)

Mixed salad

2 Cups yoghurt

1 Cucumber

1.Peel and dice the cucumber in to small pieces.

2.Mix the cucumber with the yoghurt and the juice of 1 lemon. Place in a bowl and set aside for later.

3. PLace the chickpeas, 2 cloves of garlic and the juice of 1 lemon in to a food processor. Add the olive oil slowly until smooth. Set aside in a bowl for later

4.Marinate the lamb with chili powder, crushed garlic and rosemary and a dash of olive oil

5.Cook the lamb in a hot char grill pan for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and allow to rest.

6.Drizzle a little olive oil on the pitta breads and heat on each side for 30 seconds.

7.Stuff the breads with sliced lamb, salad and the 2 sauces.

8.Serve immediately
