Yeah, we've all got things we hate.
I hate packing. Since I was 18, I haven't stayed in any one place longer than a year. In the last year, I've lived in Pacifica (just south of San Francisco), Palo Alto, and Mountain View. In another two weeks I will be in the norther part of San Jose a couple blocks from San Jose, but this time in my own apartment, no roommates! But still, there's packing. And the stress that my current roommate won't be out of here in time. She hasn't even started packing. It'll be nice not to have to rely on someone else to carry her weight.
And celibacy. That sucks.
Okay, these are the main things I hate right now.

Celibacy since I last seduced my ex-fiancé, nine months after we broke up. Basically I hate the lack of cuddles. Cuddles are comforting.

Hate is a four letter word. I hate four letter words. "Word" is a four letter word, and I hate it. "Four" is a four letter word and it pisses me off. "Piss" is a four letter word, and it sucks. "Suck" is a four letter word, but for some reason I like it. Hmm?
Ehh. "fukc" it. Hate sucks.
Edit: I truly hate censorship. Especially in a forum that is built to support shows that are against censorship, and promote shows that use "explicit" language but don't allow the audience to do the same.

I, my friend, am in the middle of packing and cleaning this hole damned place since my roommate and I are moving (not together), and so far, she's done nothing to help with ANYTHING. So the kitchen is just one more thing to do. Whenever it's cleaned, she destroys it quickly. Then again, I'm the one who cleans, so what's it to her?
I hate a lack of common courtesy.
Yea that's another good thing to hate.

That sounds like my situation three months ago. My roommate was the most helpless, frail little shit that I've ever seen. His idea of cooking dinner was heating up a couple of pop-tarts. I don't know for sure, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he considered pop-tarts as his source of fresh fruit as well... Oh man. He was a total pig to boot.
Living alone is quite nice :)
Anyway, I hate my old roommate and crumbs on my mouse pad.

I am up there with Aria on loathing the task of packing. My husband and I are moving 1400 miles from Kansas to Arizona in less than 2 weeks. I have moved 10 times in the last 14 years. I am kind of a neat freak and I hate the chaos that packing brings.
I also hate living in a small town. I have lived in one all my life and am ready to "get the hell out of Dodge". The up side in my current situation, my hate for living in a small town has out weighed my hate for packing. It is still a daunting task, but at least we are moving to civilization!

Ick. I've got 13 days left to pack and have everything done, the walk-through with management in dix days, anda roommate who has been AWOL leaving me unsure what the hell to do with her stuff. I'm going to stay in thei next place forever. I haven't stayed in one place past a year since I was 18. I'm at 14 moves in seven years. I'm ready to settle down.

I hate people who make 'clever' jokes about 'emo' kids without understanding what 'emo' was supposed to be before a bunch of junior high kids went into hot topic and bought MCR cds, then brought them back to thier elitest friends at hollister and spread 'emo' to anyone who could pronounce a two syllable word for 'whiny, suicidal, self-loathing kid with long hair in his face'.

How small is your small town?
Just under 10,000, surrounded by farmland. We have to travel about 30 miles to get to St. Joe, MO (120,000) or Leavenworth, KS (40,000). The only thing that stays open 24 hours is Walmart. We're moving to Gilbert, AZ (200,000 and growing). Its in the East Valley near Phoenix. Cannot wait!
Good luck with your move and hope the roommate appears soon!

This "nice dinner" wasn't at the place with the golden arches and the playground, was it?
You know, infants and toddlers just cry. Sticking socks in various orifaces is child abuse.
Nevertheless, as the father of occasionally screaming young children, there are some places that I just will not take them.
My wife got yelled at by an old lady for taking my 18 month old daughter to an art exhibit. I thought that was pretty rude.

I don't care if you have to jab a sock in his/her ****ing throat, just shut him/her the **** up!!You need to find better places to have nice dinners, or pick when to have dinner differently. People with kids tend to eat earlier so they can get the kids to bed.
But, I am with you to a certain extent ... kids should not be allowed in movie theatres where there is an M/R rating (assholes with cellphones should be banned as well), restaurants that require a reservation (ditto on the cellphone thing), or to sit anywhere around me on plane trips more than 2 hours in length.
I guess I will become far more tolerant when/if I actually have kids :)

Don't bet on it. Dispite the fact I have children, I'm still pretty stern about people not taking children younger than 5 to ANY movies whatsoever. If your child can't sit though 23 minutes of Seseme Street, a movie is out of the questions.
Children older than about 2 will usually be able to sit in eating places without getting too loud. Unless my daughter is really hungry and wants the french fries at the next table she's usually pretty quiet. When she was younger she used to hurl her sippy-cup into the guacamoli three tables over, but that doesn't count. An infant will usually cry when she or he uncomfortable or hungry. This usually requires that one parent hold them feed them or change them. Sometimes they just cry. If the place you're eating is pretty loud anyway, it might not matter. However, parents should restrict they're eating to "Family Resturants."
That's right Mom and Dad, it's Chuck'e'Cheese and Friendly's for you.

I hate when you're at the movies and the movie you wanted to see sells out right in front of you and the guy who took the last ticket seriously spent like 45 minutes looking for money to pay, which created a massive delay that you could have avoided by entering a different line, but unfortantely the hot teller was in this line so you kinda wanted to make a pass when you got up there but by the time you are you're so pissed that the show is sold out that you forget where you are and black out.

No, it was a nice romantic candle-light dinner. I was joking about any sort of harm that should befall children. I just ask parents to have some common sense to know where they should take their children, that's all.

I agree. People who are thinking about starting a family (or people who may have a family by accident), should know that you are giving some things up. In most cases, the sacrifices are worth it. Neverthless, quiet cande lit dinner are probably the wrong place for cranky spawn.

i hate assumed hostility.
I also hate over-zealous hostility on message boards. I'm not pointing fingers at people or threads, or even message boards for that matter. But from my experience, unless it is exclusively an informational message board, or that is the only part you browse, i have found that forums are a lot more hostile than anything i have to put up with in any given week in the "real world".
Its very discouraging, and is most of the reason i do not stay on any message board (save The Spiral (www.nin-thespiral.com)) for very long.. And the Spiral is a paid for service, where i have found very little hostility, especially compared to any other message boards i've seen / taken part in.
