I didn't read the book it's based off of ("In Oil" I believe), and the idea doesn't immediately stand out for me, but the trailer and the credits on the movie (Snape's back) are intriguing.

This is a great trailer. I'm interested in this movie now. The period-piece-serial killer genre is sorely lacking in quantity atm.

My friends say it was actually very good. I could've gone to see it a few weeks ago, but didn't. It looks interesting and will probably pay to see it when it comes out.
