I just got a call eariler today from a buddy of mine who lives about 10-15 miles away from the big EQ that was in Hawaii today (the big island) he said he felt like his house was gonna fall on him but only dishes, bottles and booze where broken..
anyhow. im really wondering if the magnatude was 6.66?? things that make u go hmmm :)

His number is 666.You really need t look at the footnotes in your copy of the New Testament. The better copies have the number of the beast as possibly being 616. this was confirmed when a papyrus version of the New Testament was found that predated previous versions by one hundred years stating that the number was 616.
The whole 666 thing came about due to a really bad translation.

Guess I never got that fictional book at borders or amazon.. I guess i got in trouble for believing in what everyone else says.. guess all those horror movies have to change now :)

Also not a fan of the alternate endings - the christians, muslims, and jews should have at least made sure the endings were consistent.
Guess we will need to wait for the directors cut.
BTW - I remembered hearing about the 616/666 thing on NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" ... google provided the details.
