Need a poll for this one I think. I like the full show, but without the doctors in the basement thing, maybe something different. Just seems out of place. Also like the mini-bite shows for a quick and easy dish.
Yeah, full show without the lab scene. The only one I ever laughed at was on the clips show when Alex starts screaming like a girl. Other than that it's a great show!

Main show is funny most of the time. I like the quick bites for real ideas I can suggest to my wife. She's a great cook and has already done most of the other recipes so far.

I enjoy both i think getting both a full and a bite every 2 weeks would be great, Just love the whole cooking idea.

I also enjoy both. I don't care, really. They're both good.

they both have their place. I think some of the stuff they make in the full shows are a little much for the average person thats watching it though. They just aren't things I would take time to make, thats why the mini bites are good

I enjoy the full show, since they are doing some interesting dishes. That's not to say I don't like the mini-bites, in fact they are a nice change of pace.
speaking of the lab scene, I caught an episode of a foodtv show that featured the people, I think it was food crimes, or something like that and the two cooks were in lab coats, before their computers, trying to track down a cooking crime.

I like both, and the Mini-Bites are almost better in the sense that they know what they're doing... and while half the fun of the show is watching their failures, I think it allows them a bit more freedom when they are actually knowledgable about what they are doing.

I like both a lot! Mini-bites are excellent to keep me happy in between full shows and the full shows have the great collaboration of Heather and Alex (along with really good recipes).

I like the full episodes better, the things they make are things that I'm more likely to make.

I love Ctrl alt Chicken, and thinks it's really a great show. One of the best on Rev3. As for the Minibites, they are great. Honestly MiniBites are more likely to have people trying the smaller recipes than the full shows recipes. It's easier, and allows for recipes that don't require a full show to also have an outlet. Great idea.

I like both. Mini-Bites is cool for something quick but the full shows are great for bigger things. Btw the Cheese Pie kicks ASS! Thanks Alex. I would have never thought of that. (I mixed Chedder and Pepper Jack)

I also think both the full show and the mini-bites are great. Although I will probably never try any recipes form the full show (cooking skills = zero), I still watch it because of the humor. The mini-bites are different. I am more inclined to try one of the mini-bites recipes because they require little to no skill (did I mention I can't cook?)
Oh, and please keep the Lab scenes. Alex's accent is priceless!

Oh, and please keep the Lab scenes. Alex's accent is priceless!I think you hit the nail on the head - the minibites (nibbles?) are quick, easy, and able to be done by anyone that can handle a can opener - be they 13 or 30.
The full shows are generally more entertaining though.
My feeling is that if the recipes in the minibite give you the confidence to try something from the main show, then they have done their purpose.
Cooking is fun (cleanup isn't ;) ). Alex and Heather really show that in their show.

I like the parts of lab scenes where Heather explains the history of the dish. But not much else of them:mad:.

wow, love the show, love the content. i've been cooking for many many years now and most of my friends cannot compare. being a 22 year old guy i've got tons of experience and it's good to show others just how simple cooking can be. anyone can do it and this show will prove it!
hmmm that may make a good motto:
"anyone can do it and this show will prove it!"
perhaps you could appeal more toward the stoner crowd and make the minibites called munchie attack! it would put a different spin on the show. why stop there? how about some "special" recipes... if you know what i mean.

How can people be hating on the lab scenes? They are the best part. I like the minibites as a tide-me-over but I am much more likely to cook the things in the full shows. The minibites seemed too much like stoner food to me.
