I haven't missed an episode since this show began and I am just simply not going to watch this one. Enough with this guy.

While the was a good new tip in this episode of turning the text into a smart object, rather than rasterizing it, but other than that all the filter technics was covered under the Rust episode. Would it not have been better than try to reteach the same technic, simple refer the the rust episode, and then quickly apply the filter so you can demonstrate the editing of the text.
Will th additional time It could have shown how create that back ground? so that you can use to make your poster/map then destroy/age the entire document?

Notice how no one has changed the sticky episode since 49. Its like no one can bring themselves to recognize that he had more than one episode centered around Doctor Brown...
That said, I hope hes serious about this being his last one. Although I do feel kind of bad for him, as a sensed that he knew he was unwelcome this time 'round. I mean, he had some pretty good tips and stuff, but I just don't he had good synergy with this show/audience at all. Best of luck to him...elsewhere!

I couldn't agree more. I swear, I feel like he is trying to impress children with his antics. I'm sure he is very fluent with PS but the "Big Hair" and his childish antics make me want to stop the show. I really respect Bert and his teachings but this has got to stop. Come on the show, demonstrate your topic and stop with the attempt at comedy. We are not 6 years old.

They clearly taped all the "Dr Brown" shows in one go... With a show like pixel perfect they probably do a few months worth at a time... Bert just changes shirts.

oh god, i couldn't watch this one after dr. brown made the buzzing type sound effect when he entered
I agree with being treated like a 6 year old, and I find it insulting - I think they both have something to offer (in separate shows), but i don't think we need the cliché attached to it; anywhere.

Complete agree. When he jumped in and blurted out with a grin, "I'm here!", my head nearly went into the keyboard, metaphorically. Not only do I feel that a passerby looking over my shoulder would have no respect for my taste in podcasts if they were to see me watching this, but our esteemed host seems, if anything, abused, with the Doc making occasional cracks about how he's teaching something that even Bert doesn't know.
Bringing the occasional guest on Pixel Perfect is actually an awesome idea, but Doc Brown is beginning to be a distraction — with the taste of promotion. By the way, he does have his own podcast, The Russell Brown Show [iTS Link] (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=102204470).
Please, Rev3, let Bert have his show back.
