Alright, folks, we're thru Episode 2 now...how is everyone feeling about his show?

I want to like it - it has a lot of elements that I geek out on, but for some reason I just don't know whether I like the show or not. Some of the bad writing is killing it for me, but I'll keep tuning in to see if they can raise my meh-meter, I guess.

How one of the producers of BSG could not get some better writers is beyond me...

I will continue to watch it until they screw up. I like the premise, and I like most of the characters. Yes a little of the writing makes me roll my eyes, but because the rest of it is good I'm going to keep watching. I'm convinced that with some backstory under it's belt it'll be able to get into the meat of it's story arc.

I like the premise to this show and I think it could be really good with better writing and too many lines are cliche in my book but overall it is still quite decent and so far it hasn't turned me off yet. I saw the pilot and I must say I like the new casting of the sister but not much of big deal to make me like the show anymore. Some of the stuff is just retarded...like in the second episode when they were hiding from the guys walking outside the chick is talking on the phone pretty freakin loud with the guys only like 10 - 15 feet away...makes me ask, "How did they not hear her?" Not a big deal really just a lot of little stuff like that annoys me about shows.

I really like the fact that Starbuck is in it as the vilian because I like to see actors do role reversals from what I've seen them in for other shows so overall I'll keep watching but to be honest I dont have my hopes up.

Not at all... I'm sure that was included in their criteria for hiring her. I loved her more in Jekyll and wished she'd of had a larger part in that. Also I heard something about being number one in FHMs Most Sexy women on TV list. I'm not even going to bother looking that up, but it was something along those lines.

Yeah she is Uber hot. I'm glad she is getting success with this show but i'm pissed at what happened to Jekyll.

Yeah she is Uber hot.

I'm just glad they gave her bionic legs, that means we'll get to see her running more...hehe ;)

I want to like it...and yes, she is incredibly gorgeous...

I keep seeing her boss and my brain snaps to robocop...

Battlestar playing on the tv in episode 2 was a nice touch...

...but there are just as many bad points as there are good.

The one that really made me say "WTF?" is when her blonde supervisor who drives the muscle car walks in through the back of the pawn shop (after the phone conversation with the sister) and pulls an assault rifle off the pawn shop wall rack...WTF? Why have her pull it off the pawn ship wall when she should have just grabbed the soldier's pistol...and then she could have grabbed the grenade at the same time and held it up when she referenced making a trap...god that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Did i say she's gorgeous?

I like (cant think of her name) better in this than her role as Starbuck on BSG. She fits this character better I think...she comes off as a baddie more naturally than a goodie with a bad attitude...

OH, just thought of a bigger error in the writing, editing, acting area...

So this girl gets busted in on while brushing her teeth...they take her outside and she sees dead people all over...and looks around saying, "what happened" like she walked out to see a tree had blown over, not a town of dead people...and then we see them sitting in a diner and she's asked how she's doing and she nods and says, "I'm ok."

WTF? the sole survivor of a town, her grandmother is dead, and she was chased by soldiers and she's smiling in a diner the same ****ing day?

Holy cripes, that irritated me...those are the types of crappy parts that need to be weeded out or I'm gonna run away from this show faster than she can weave in between posts...

(very cool visual of her running through the forest in episode 1 though)

Her being so damn fine doesn't hurt...just won't be enough to battle the cliche crap and plain ol' bad bad bad bad editing/choices they make...and some parts are cut poorly like they edited the show in a rush (cutting while someone's talking or moving or in a way that just feels/looks like an error)

the more i talk about it and think about it, the more I didn't like it...

the pacing seems unatural too...might be the way they are cutting it together...or rushing the story along...I don't know...it almost feels like they makers of the show are confused about what's going on...which is odd.

I don't know about anyone else, but this show continues to be a massive disappointment. It's just so meh, like a poor man's Alias.

It does disappoint, yes.

I LOVE seeing Katee in it (though she's been gone the past few episodes. :() even though they direct her horribly and the character is just not for her.

The episode before last (I think) showed some promise but while I think it's getting slightly better, that doesn't mean it's good enough.

/sigh

I made a big mistake. I decided that Bionic Woman was good, and Chuck was bad when they first started. Now I'm thinking it's the other way around. Every episode I end up yelling at the TV as Jamie Sommers makes another stupid move. Maybe its the point of the show to make her human but she makes stupid ass mistakes and it leaves me wondering why she can't be a badass robot spy instead of a stupid girl. As far as I'm concerned this show gets worse every week. Does anyone else wish she was a little tougher, ran a little faster, punched a little harder, or am I looking for something in the wrong place?

I think she'd make a much better wonder woman than bionic woman...

I think it's perfectly watchable, then again it's something I only watch on my ipod on the commute into work.

I dont think I rate it highly enough to waste any of my 'own time' on it though

No..... no it isn't. That might be the only reason I watch The Sarah Connor Chronicles when it comes out next year. Hopefully the reviews from the TRS guys have somehow trickled back and they have worked out kinks.

But if the haven't, they still have some very attractive women. :)

This show is my new, "Blade: The Series".

Yeah, I watched every episode of Blade...don't judge me.

I know Bionic Woman is not a good show - but I can't help but watch it.
