First DL.TV and now Tekzilla? Not that I mind seeing Morgan but I can't help but think she's looking for a new 'network'. She's got her own side project and ZD or Rev3 would be a better fit for her than G4. Are we seeing yet another former TechTV personality moving to ...Rev3 perhaps?
And think about it.
ZDTV = Rev1
TechTV = Rev2
... Revision3
Just sayin'! ;)

Seems that way to me. Or maybe she is just looking to promote/get better sponsorship for her podcast. Sometimes you will see especially the more "run my own podcast" types do a "tour de podcasts" for promotional purposes every so often.
Still, it is cool to have an attractive lady in the technology media arena who actually knows her stuff for the most part. And unlike most geeks, she is a "doer" at that. :D

When Leo interviewed her on his radio show this summer he asked about her contract negotiations and she mentioned she was talking to 'others' but at the same time still enjoyed G4/X-play.

When one show host goes on other shows it means they're looking for a new show? So what is promotion mean?
Looks like she was just plugging her podcast, which isn't bad; her segment was very informative, and she did an excellent job communicating what she has learned about the video podcasting process. It really gave me insight into how resource-intensive and time-consuming it is to produce ten minutes of video.
That said, it would be great if Revision3 involved Morgan in more technology-related productions, but at the very least it will be great to see her making more guest appearances like this every once in a while.

Morgan shouldn't to quit her day job. The kind of access that she gets from her gig at G4 is considerable. She can use that access to make her podcast better.

Yeah, thats the one bad thing about Revision3 being in SF, assuming people like her didn't have some type of a non-compete clause in their contracts and could do side work for Revision3, they can't because LA is a pretty nasty drive away. Although it's probably a lifesaver for shows like GigaOm to be right in the heart of Silicon Valley in terms of getting guests.
I agree with your opinion, big media sucks, but I bet flashing that G4/Comcast card around opens up a few more doors for her than a Revision3 can. Hopefully that will start changing soon.

Rev3 needs to steal Morgan and Adam away from G4 and Robert and Roger away from DL.TV -- and convince Hahn to move to San Francisco and bring inDigital back! :)
Then the TechTV reunion would be almost complete.... only missing Leo, Kat, and a couple others.

We would like to see a new show in the future, Wouldn't be too bad.
Maybe the rumors that rev3 was looking for a studio to have live audiences might be the start of something good, But G4 won't give them up with out a fight hell Xplay is the only show on G4 that old TechTV viewers go to G4 for!

rev3 does'nt like it when you don't live in SF and have a show too. i mean thats why martin sargent lives here now. morgan has some insiders scoop on g4, she just does'nt wanna tell.

morgan webb on rev3 would be epic. and then if some way somehow rev3 did a thing with leo combining but still letting him stay boss that would be even greater. but anyway morgan best of luck in whatever you do. just make the right choice *whispers* Revision3

Promotion = when other people promote you show on theirs without any real provoking.
though I think this i just another moment in time where people saw Morgan and went "We want her on revision 3." Its those waiting till Revision 3 becomes another Tech Tv. In all honesty it slowly seems its heading that way the more shows that are added.
I sort of wish for it sometimes myself but i also realize that it wont happen.

i didn't think that much into it, but i have noticed that i'm not seeing that much of morgan on xplay. I hardly see/hear her voice over reviews, its seems that she does a quick intro of the game then adam does the VO and she's there for the final rap up of the reviews. has anyone else noticed this?

If morgan webb left g4 the network would fall apart and so would xplay. I do not think morgan would leave g4 right now because she has a sweet deal. I would like her on rev3 but with all of the access she has and where she gets to go for xplay it is hard to give up. Only time will tell if she leaves g4.

X-Play is the only thing I care to stop and watch on G4, otherwise G4 just makes my heart hurt.

Same here. I just cannot stand g4. Xplay is the only program that I watch. If xplay was not on g4 I would not even watch that network. G4 just has the worst line up with the exception of xplay that I have ever seen. If morgan left g4 would explode. They cannot survive without her.
