View Full Version : With the new studio they also need a studio audience.

I love Infected. The writing is on par with anything Marty's ever done. But he just doesn't seem to be as on fire as when he performed before a live audience like on the Unscrewed days. The fact is, he needs people to play off. The Gator does too.

Hopefully, Rev3 will consider doing this once the new studio is up and running. It doesn't need to be a lot of people. Unscrewed couldn't have had more than 20 people, but it was enough.

I also think Diggnation could also benefit. Those live shows are always more entertaining then the apartment based ones.

I would agree with you for most Revision3 shows, but not Infected. Infected started out as a show that was just about 3 sort of misfit guys having a crazy time together. Then it went down to 2, and has gotten a bit more produced down the road. But I think the original spirit of the show would be totally ruined if it got any more open.

Also, I don't like audience/canned laughter in comedy shows. It drives me crazy.

Nothing is stopping them from trying it out.

It'd be cool, but I'm not going to hold my breath. A live audience in the background really helps to liven things up, much like using the appropriate drapes in the front room does.

Diggnation, yes. Infected, I dunno about that one.

Though, maybe with the new studio they'll get new cameramen and we can FINALLY get Joey back on the show.
