Hey everybody..

I was just thinking, as I'm often prone to do:
I'm watching Journeyman Live as it broadcasts. No DVR, no *ahem* other methods of oBTaining... I also watch Heroes this way. Almost everything else is watched at my convenience. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I don't work on Mondays. I really like these shows, tho.

Oh, sometimes I watch NBC Thursdays Live. Office and 30 Rock at least...

What are you guys watching LIVE versus OTHER.

Later,
Wes

I watch The Office live. 30 Rock too. Obtain Ugly Betty, Journeyman, Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy. No Tivo in this country yet, what ya gonna do?

Is Ugly Betty really all that great? I couldn't stand the original(?) spanish novela.

Personally, I rarely watch anything live anymore. Right now, with the exception of sports, 95% of everything I watch on TV is from the USA and it's downloaded. The other 5% is Top Gear and I'm even downloading that now. If a show is being aired at a time convenient for me and it contains no adverts, I'll watch it live. In every other instance, I'll download it.

I DVR everything. I always have something going on and can never watch live TV that and I hate commercials.

Yep. With you on that one. Dual HD tuner DVR is awesome. You can fit three shows into the space of two without ads.

THe onyl show I really watch "live" anymore is Torchwood ... and only on HDNet where it runs without ads. OK, so I obtained the originals as the aired previously and have seen the series, but HD surround sound goodness trumps headphones and iPod screen any day.

Speaking of TopGear ... time to go watch last nights episode from BBCA.

There are few shows I watch live, currently it's just Heroes, Journeyman, and Pushing Daises.

Even when I'm able to watch live, I wait 20 minutes so I can skip the commercials. My wife likes Cold Case (ugh) and since football often pushes it out of its schedule the Comcast DVR won't catch it. So we have to watch that one live, like it or not.

I watch Heroes live intentionally and nothing else.

I inadvertently watch Bones and House when my girlfriend watches them, but I try to leave the room for the various CSIs and Survivor.

I rarely watch anything live anymore. Dual tuner DVRs are FTW! I'm always doing other things and can't even remember when most of the shows I like are on.

WoW is a big reason for me. I remember now why I stopped playing it.

I personally don't watch much of anything live anymore
besides watching the Packers rock the field

Mostly because I don't have cable, and too lazy to torrent, so I just watch it off the official sites. They actually give pretty good quality.

YES! I never saw the original, but the ABC version is really great. The season 1 ending shows the novella side of it, but it's a great comedy to me. It's an excellent show.

I'm torrent anything that I really feels needs to be seen in HD, such as Heroes, Battlestar, etc. Simple comedy shows (the Office, Scrubs, Reaper) I usually just catch live.

I probably would watch some shows "live" if I could but we have no TV. I mean, we have a TV, just don't get any channels whatsoever on it since we refuse to pay for cable and we don't have rabbit ears. :P

BTW Geekluv, did you change your hair color? Looks rad!

It's spelled red. But it is rad. I'm going to dye mine dark purple again. All the gray really highlights the purple, and the brown just makes it look black.

And I'm right there with ya Seren - I have 7 televisions with nothing on them. I have no cable either and my rabbit ears I once hooked up, barely got me NBC and FOX. I moved into this house with a satellite system too, but found it didn't work seeing as I live in the bottom of a conical canyon. I watch dvd's and that's it. ALOT. I've never torrented anything, except for my rage.

Heroes as well as Pushing Daisies, just because I happen to have free evenings on those days. Otherwise I just PVR Curb Your Enthusiasm and It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.

I don't think I'd mind not having a TV, there are so many other ways to watch shows these days. I Still like my HDTV for playing Xbox 360 though.

I didn't change my hair, I think my red just shows up better in that pick than my others. And thanks for saying it looks rad :) You know what else is rad? My initials...R.A.D. That just struck me as funny (I'm a dork!)

Yeah, no TV isn't so bad really. As long as we can DL, we're good.

Wow, the red really does show up amazingly well in that pic, looks lovely. :)
We're all dorks here, btw. You're in good company. :P

Yes, dual tuner DVRs FTW. Comcast accidently gave me one when I asked for a new HD box. I haven't told them I have it... I don't watch shows when they air anymore. I usually watch everything on my DVR while I'm trying to get to sleep or when I wake up in the morning.

I just noticed the hair color too. Looks really good. And your initials are R.A.D. thats awesome. Lol.
