I thought it was definitely a better episode than what we'd seen so far this season, mostly because of all the new reveals. I was surprised that Maya and Alejandro met up with Sylar so soon, should be interesting. I'm still a little undecided about Claire's plot line, but it may turn for the better. Definitely a lot more to speculate about with Parkman's dad and Molly. So what'd everyone else think?

I thought it was interesting. I just wish that Mr, Bennett or H.R.G. as he is referred too would not be so overly protective of his Daughter. He knew how she could handle Everything first season. Why doesn't he let her live her life? I Wish They would have Nathan Patrelli and Matt Parkman Working together more. Parkman and H.R.G. Were awsome Together First season. But i Can't wait for next episode when Kristen Bell Shows up. She looks a lot more sexier on Heroes than she was on her UPN/CW Show (Sorry forget the name)! anyways The shows Getting better Besides G4tv buying the Rebroadcast rights.

And this can't go in the other million Heroes threads because?

It was okay...

SPOILERS!

I'm just so sick and tried of the characters in these shows hiding things for no reason. I think this is the Jeff side of me, but after everything Claire and her dad went through for her not trust him enough to fill him in about the flying boy she just happens to meet at school is just plain stupid. The fact that he abducted the kid is no great shock - even to her- and fact that she's found a boy with just enough of a reason to hide as her would be the best bf her dad could hope for. I mean its not like the kid's not going to see her dad at some point.

Its a just a poorly written ploy for drama that wasn't interesting last season and isn't close to being interesting this season.

Its a worn out cliche that I'm frankly bored with, wanna be new and exciting? Take the lessons our heroes learned last season and let the characters be more than one sided slaves to plot devices.

2.5 stars.

Boring.

I agree. Basically, everything in Claire's storyline is absolute crap this season.

However, everything else in this episode was really good. It was probably the most interesting one so far, which is suprising because it was an episode with absolutely no Peter or Hiro in it.

I mean, just that photograph was interesting all on it's own.

I agree totally about Claire and her Dad not telling each other the truth.
It's so aggravating to think that so much trouble could be avoided if they just talked! I know it would make for a boring show if there were no tension or drama but come on! Do we really believe they wouldn't be totally honest with each other?
Sure, her Dad might be so used to hiding everything that he would fall into the same pattern but Claire wasn't in the habit of doing so for that long. I just can't buy that she would keep this secret.

Otherwise, I still adore the show.

I'm probably the only one, but I've been a little bit annoyed this season, that Claire is in such a rush to blow their cover and probably get the dad killed. Put yourself in her shoes, and I don't think your priorities would be cheerleading and going on dates with some strange guy that she just so happened to coincidentally meet.

Other than that, my only other complaint so far is that they are seemingly repeating their mistake from last season, of having too many story lines going on at once. Every time Alejandro and Maya's story comes up, myself and the friends I watch with all groan. We don't have anything against them personally, but we're all somewhat in agreement that the writers thought to themselves "Well, Immigration is hot button right now, so.....Let's go for broke".

Oh well, it's still easily the best show on Monday (Chuck isn't horrible, but it's not amazing either). Prison Break had been my favorite, until they started a new season with him in jail...again...now it's my least favorite.

Haha, I thought they were trying to go for a non-english speaking character record, competing with Lost.

This episode was more intriguing, though I wouldn't mind if they just scrap Claire's storyline all together. They saved her already, I don't care anymore. Right now, I don't see (yet) how their storyline even fits into the grander scheme of things. The show feels like it's a spin-off within itself. You got the main storyline (the old heroes), then you got the other heroes having their own adventures elsewhere.

The thing I absolutely hate is their attempt at trying to connect things or people. OKAY WE GET IT! Geez, it is god awful sometimes and pointless. Believe it or not, the world isn't that small.

IMHO the show has been terrible for about seven or eight episodes in a row (that includes going back to last season of course), but I think I'm going to give it one more chance, yet if after that nothing intrigues me, I'm done.

Everything that has above me is 100% true. With that being said it's still the best "Powers" show on TV right now. So even with the crap characters that no one cares about (Niki, Mikah, The crying girl and her flamer brother...) I'm still going to check the DVR everyweek. Syler, Peter and Hiro alone are worth an hour of my time.

Peter wasn't even in this weeks episode =/, that's why it's somewhat lame to see Micah (mikah, however he spells it) and Alejandro/Maya. Why fill space with characters noone cares about, when you've got Peter, his brother, Hiro, Parkman etc. I'll be pretty happy when Sylar gets rid of the twins, and gets back into the main storyline a little bit (if it happens...who knows)

Well I think her dad is mostly just freaked out about that painting of his death. Remember, the two of them were kissing in the background, something like that would probably freak you out a little bit.

Paulo and Nikki were the castaways that Lost introduced last season. Everyone hated them and instead of the intended season long arc they were supposed to have they got one episode where they were buried alive and thus killed off. I'm hoping that Sylar gives some much needed brain surgery to those two (Maya and Alejandro).

Ahh I won't be caught up on lost till the DVDs come out. I hope they can't cure Nikki (From Heroes) and that a computer gives her son the blue screen of death for not using protection.

Because the next episode looks to be mostly of Peter.
