Martin web drifts pixyland.org, the home page of Peter Pan. Or at least the home page of a guy named Randy Constan, who has something of an obsession with dressing up as Peter Pan.

this stuff is comedy gold.
Hahaha, wow. What a weird guy. And apparently this is one of the more "tamer" episodes. I can't wait for me.
Also, is it just me or does the HD version look like shit?
This one was better than ep 4, but I like the style of the first episodes a lot more.
And why was Martin really using a cane? Did he just feel like it? Did he actually fall down the stairs and was that just a dramatic reenactment?

Just saw the episode. I enjoyed this one more than the last, though I still would like to see the old song from the first three episodes. Oh well, I guess I will just have to edit the song on the show myself using nero. :D
Anyways, I really like the ending, with the update on his marriage. I too am still curious about why the cane was really used. I know that they shot the show like months ago, (at the time when infected was only showing every two weeks) so I wondor what really happened to Martin.
Great episode all around, although when the car was about to pull out, I saw the camera man's hand waving them to go.
This episode had much better editing. Peter Pan himself was actually a transition, which was awesome.
The song was alright, but I would have liked to have seen it edited more like a music video, but still good to watch.
All in all, Great episode. Good work Martin, and everyone at Rev3.
P.S. I like the idea of Martin giving a newly recorded intro before the intro song and the show itself, like he did explaining the cane accident.

It's amazing that his employer is so understanding, that instead of firing him, they let him work from home. I'll bet they are really glad that he didn't mention where it is he works though =P
How awkward was it for you guys when the camera wasn't rolling?

I think my grandparents own a few of the houses where he dropped him off at.

It's amazing that his employer is so understanding, that instead of firing him, they let him work from home.
He sounded like he might work as a contractor for several firms from the way his website puts it. This is pretty common these days, and if you are talented enough to be efficient enough at getting whats asked of you done, you can more than make up the difference in pay/benefits/security between contracted and salary work. And of course, as long as you can perform whats asked of you consistently, the contractor managers really don't care how you do you work, much the less what type of a person you are.
And as an aside, I think its really fantastic that finally in our era people can get recognized for the talents alone, regardless of what people think of them or their interests. This is an extreme case, but all the better.
only Martin could do this show so flawlessly.
Martin Sargent is reminding the world how awesome of a comedic host he is! i can't wait for the next ep.

I loved the show, but sometimes, I felt like Marty was humiliating the guy. But then again, most of the time, it seemed that the guy was having a great time.

Oh, if it's contract work, then I guess it makes sense. I've worked at places that would take offense to long hair, much less a peter pan outfit, so I was really..mmm...impressed I suppose, that his employer was so understanding. If it's contract work though, that means that instead of being understanding, they are probably just oblivious.
I love episodes like this, because they really make you look at the houses next to you, and wonder if the occupants might be man fairies in Peter Pan costumes. I'm pretty sure my neighbors wives would object to their husbands wearing fairy costumes though =P
and yeah, Marty is just strange enough of a guy that the people he interviews, honestly don't seem to know that they are being publicly ridiculed. I don't think anyone else could keep a straight face for long enough to interview a guy in a fairy costume. Imagine Patrick Norton interviewing him =P

Great episode. It was Almost flawless. I laughed non stop.. Marty I don't know how you can talk to these people with a straight face. the only thing i didn't like was the end trip to Key West, when you told Pan to get out. Then there was a shot of him walkig away as the car drives away and the camera is outside. I felt it was a bit to Staged. but that didn't bother me.. Marty, your shows are genius.

Did anyone else notice the fairy bulge in his fairy tights, while swinging on the fairy swing, singing a fairy song?
........ I see...... listen, I'm not gay or anything.... but, there was some serious hills and valleys going on.
Plus, he really does look good for a guy in his 50's.
The first thing I thought when I saw martin in that costume, was fairy pimp.

I totally agree with you there. I know that, well basically the whole interview was staged, but this particular scene was especially hard to swallow. Still, great episode though.

I thought this episode was a much stronger showing than the previous premiere programme. Peter Pan was much more interesting than the tom jones guy. He was affable, erudite and his music was surprisingly good. If he wrote about other stuff and ditched his costumes while playing at a gig he could do some good business on the side. I'm very happy for him and his fiance.
Martin: well done, sir. Keep it coming. Thanks for the promo code, as a good daddy user I'll be using it next time I need to extend my sub.
I can't wait for next tuesday. At least we have infected to keep us going!

well basically the whole interview was staged
In the life of a 50 year old new yorker electrical engineer who dresses up as fairies all the time, prances in the woods for his workouts, and sings songs about magic, you have to wonder if you could claim any part of his life isn't staged. All the world's a stage...

Ah Very true. All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts... ---William Shakespeare
Those words have never seemed more true to me as they do right now.

Yeah, the Peter Pan man was surprisingly sane and his music didn't sound bad either. I loved how his fridge was stocked with junky kid food.

I'm actually kinda saddened by this in the new episodes. In the original three, the subjects knew they were being messed with a little bit, but Martin was still pretty real with 'em. The new ones have a staged air, and the dynamic's more Martin-is-a-total-asshole-and-I'm-just-going-to-act-like-I-don't-notice.
I feel the same thing in the new opening music... but maybe I just liked the old song...
