Mulitple Video Formats

I understand quicktime formats are very popular, but I think it is time to expand. I am wanting to be able to download videos so that I could play them on my media center and stream them to my xbox 360. I think this would be a very popular addition and would give the users more options for the video. I know I could convert the video, but why when it could be done so that everyone don't waste time to do this.

Okay, get what you say, but go to the newest geekdrome video. Do as you say and all there is quicktime. It may be some shows have multiple formats, but all the shows should have the assortment of formats.

I don't watch Geekdrome so I don't know for sure, but are you sure there isn't only one format right now because the show was just uploaded? They can only do so much at one time, and the most common formats are what they seem to upload first. Go back to an old episode of Geekdrome and see if there are multiple formats. If there are, then it's safe to assume more are coming for the new episode.
