Into the Wild
Sean Penn's movie about Chris McCandless. A young college grad who gave it all up to try to live wild. As wild as civilized men today can live.
I loved the story. I was jealous of this man's courage to actually do what I've never had the nerve to even think through...The story takes place 1990-92. I'm glad to know that even in modern times, this spark inside humanity still lives and some of us actually seek it out. That need to explore and exist in nature without mod-cons and even minimal human contact. His 'wilderness' spread thru natural forests, rivers, camps, and almost best shown thru cities he visited.
Sean Penn directed a great movie. With original -Great- music from Eddie Vedder and excellent acting from all sorts of unexpected places. Go see this movie.
