It's not out already, but it comes out today. I'm probably ordering it through Amazon myself...

The mini-series started out well, but went downhill from there. FYI

I hear you, but I thought the last issue was pretty good. Truly it was uneven throughout. Not his best work. But it still has a certain charm to it.
My kids liked it (though I'm not 100% sure it's kid-friendly... they're just kind of weird like that).

I hated the tone, it felt odd, not kiddy or adult

Overall I was a fan of this series.
It was very uneven though. There was a lot of things that happened in the first few issues, then nadda, then it picked up again at the end.

Pretty much agree with the rest of dudes here. Shazam & MSE was very uneven in tone and pacing.
The early parts on the Shazam mythos and Billy running around the streets was perfection. Phenomenal artwork.

my thoughts exactly
the price point of the individual issues also put me off, but that one be an factor for you
