For example, in tonights episode when the one guy cuts off the foot and they both go "ewwwww" and then get back the fight, or when he says "I wanted to be a jedi" or the whole prince-charming thing with the robes. This show is pure genius! I have never felt this way about a TV show...or even a movie, I can really take pride in being a fan.

I've just figured it out why the show is so good, and so funny. Its Douglas Adams Humor! A man who is constantly in fear of all the air being sucked out into space - classic Adams. This show is how the HGTHG movie should have been. Everything (not just the crazy guy) in this show just screams Douglas Adams and his kind of ridiculous explained very calmly as if it was the most simplest thing the world humor.

I've been trying to figure out how to describe this show and you're right! This show is so Douglas Adams. Oh my god, I can't believe I didn't think of that.
This show is amazing, it's my favorite show right now. The acting, the way it's shot, the characters, everything about it is great. I don't usually laugh that much though, it's more charming than funny to me.
Does anybody else think Chuck is effing gorgeous?

This show is great. Each week gets better and better. The writing, acting, story, everything. Glad it got picked up for a full season.
Thanks, rad-dudes!

I still like it. Not quite sure what about it makes me keep coming back though.

This show is now one of my favorite shows. I love the bright and colorful sets. I think what really did i for me was when the sisters and Olive were follow the pigeon singing "Birdcage in My Soul" from They Might Be Giants.
But I am still not sure how long the show can last. I hope time will prevail with this show.

I'm really enjoying PD too.. and I can see the Adams vibe running through the show, but I see more Dirk Gently than I do Hitchhikers.. which is good.. Dirk is cooler the Arthur. :)

I can't see this show ever getting old for me. It's pure joy every week!
Seriously, it makes me guffaw - not just laugh. :)
My new random thing to say is "It's raining dead birds!"
When he said that I was on the floor. It was so deadpan and uncomfortable and that made it totally hysterical.

I'm on the road most weeks for work and PD is the only show I'll rearrange dinner plans to get back to the hotel to see.. everything else can be seen at the end of the week when I get home..

I am totally in love with Pushing Daisies. I get this warming sensation when I see the show, which may be just because of Anna Friel.. But I look forward to downloading the episode each week, being in Australia. There aren't many shows out there that interest me, but i'm drawn the show. The witty dialogue is littered with allusions and anecdotes, the sets and scenery have this whole overemphasized Tim Burton-esque & Dr. Suess Technicolor feeling, the cast work so well together, and the writing team is sensational.

it's definitely the only show that I've watched where i always end up with a smile on my face after watching. It's a great show and Jim Dale is the man!

Its the only show I try to catch every week. Me and my girlfriend set aside Wed night just so we can see it. Its really a good leader in a movement for better TV and its awesome it got picked up for a whole season. Hopefully they can keep it up and get it rolling for a second season.

like a pie with too much sugar, this show while I really enjoyed it at first is making me ill. It's simply too much of the same thing over and over and it's lost me. It's sad because I really enjoyed it for the first 3 or 4 episodes.

Aw, that's so sad and I couldn't disagree more!
I find something new to love each week. I'm so, so happy it didn't turn out for me the way it did for you. It's magical!

I love this show. I hope it's able to get good enough ratings to stick around.
It'll be a shame if it's canceled.
