Going back to Cali

So I booked my flight this morning and I'm heading out to the Bay Area for a week in Nov. I plan on getting a flight to head out to LA if all things work out well. Anyone have suggestions of things to see or Do while i'm out in either of these areas?

I'll be in foster city. I've been out there before. Been to the prison and the pier as well as the stadium. I've been to downtown SF. I'll prob check out Height district again maybe Dog patch area? Just looking for anything fun to do. Good pubs, music, shops and what not. LA is all new to me though but there are the normal tourist things I want to do out there if I have time.

If you're going to Haight you check out a shop called kid robot (http://www.kidrobot.com/). They have really cool toys. Check out Cha Cha Cha's (right by Amoeba's Music) if you like or want Cuban food. They have pretty good Sangria. Check Amoeba's website to see what bands might be playing when you're in the area.
If you want to see some word art/science you can make the trip down to San Jose and check out Body Worlds 2. (http://www.thetech.org/bodyworld/) The Tech is kind of cool.

I'm sure I'll think of more stuff later.
