Hey everyone. Glad to now that Patrick Norton is back on the "airways." I have an Ipod Nano and would love to listen to an MP3 version of Tekzilla. Any ideas on how it can be done?

Thanks.

You can use VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) to extract the audio file from the xvid.avi version of the show. If you're on a Mac, ffmpegX (http://homepage.mac.com/major4/) works well too. There is also Super (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_(software)) for Windows users, but I've never used it myself.

Hi guys,

Is there no mp3 feed for this show at all?

I'm a blind techy and although I'll probably do it if I have to it's an awful waste of bandwidth to download almost 300megs of data on a daily basis just to strip the audio.

I'll certainly not be able to download it in work on a daily basis. 2 to 300megs of company bandwidth on a daily basis just isn't a cool or wise thing to do at all.

There must be loads of people out there who'd also benifit from an mp3 feed? :D)

Thanks and am downloading my very first ep of the show now! Have followed Patrick and Veronica for years. :)

no there is not an mp3 version for Tekzilla...there are for a few shows but not Tekzilla...I don't really see the benefit of an mp3 version though because this show is heavily visual based so not seeing what they are talking about could be a bit confusing at times.

Are you looking for a .mp3 version for smaller file size or just because you want an audio podcast?

If the Nano is like the Touch, you might be able to navigate to podcasts through the music menu and listen to just the audio in the podcast.

That what I do every once in a while when my battery almost dead.....It really comes in handy.

I would like to have the mp3 version also. i have a nano also, and would like to listen to the show. I usually write down what I'm interested in and look at it later. Please make a mp3 version.

Supposedly the diggnation MP3 feed is "down" right now as well.
Hmmm...what does rev3 have against audio-versions?
