Token, out of curiousity, what in this messege strikes you as this being a spam-bot? Or is it something behind the scenes we regular folk can't see? I ask with seriousness, not in jest. Please educate me.

It's not the first. The others I've seen were banned for clear reasons, but I don't understand what indicated that this person was one to ban.

The exact same message has been posted on forums across the internet from the same account name created today.
While this was a very innocent sounding post, I banned the user before other things could be posted from this userid that might not be as "innocent".
Sometime mods know what we're doing ;)
Normally we delete the post with the spam so you never see it, but for some reason this one amused me. I want to keep the spam bot as a pet.

It's not a lack of trusting the mods, but rather a curiousity. I like to learn things that may seem mundane. Unless you Google every username here, how did you know that this would be one other places? Or have you modded on so many other boards that you recognized it?

It goes with the territory of being a mod. We are but janitors ... and sometimes we have to be bouncers as well.
