Okay, I asked before for ways to GET spam. I know that most sites that require you to register to place a vote for something or to participate in a one-shot event aren't going to let you opt out of future mailings. You know, they're gonna spam you. I come by these sites frequently without trying simply due to being online so much, but to describe how is like trying to tell someone how to drink through a straw. You put your lips around it and suck on it. How do you suck? I don't know, you just do it. That sort of thing.
So can someone PLEASE help me figure out how on earth to come by these websites intentionally?

(I'm only replying so I can select from the drop box below to receive instant e-mail notification of replies. I forgot to in my initial post and editting it does not give the option to edit your notification.)

Why on God's green earth do you want spam? Hell, you can have all of mine.
Anyway...
1. Sign up for a porn site, then cancel. They sell your email to everyone.
2. Sign up for that crap magazine offer on diggnation. You won't get your magazines, but you will get spam.
3. Sign up, and then cancel at walmart.com. Need I say more?
Oh and always check the "can we tell our affiliates about you?" box.

McAfee's Site advisor extension tells you info about sites in a google search, including how many emails a week they'll send you.
And if you select 'Go Advanced' when editing, you can select to have email notification.

It's the specific kind of smap I'm after, how to find the sites, like windblows.us, that require you to register to vote or participate in something. :)
I work for an internet and e-mail security company and we need a large volume of spam and fraud messages for the e-mail part. Since I signed a non-disclosure, I'm not sure how much I can say, other than to tell you t hat it's for work.
did you not already start a thread like this... it's not hard to find spam, it's friggin everywhere man!

Hmmmm. Would pop-ups or spyware be considered spam in your case? Despite the fact that it's not in your E-Mail?

I have a peronal e-mail account that i've had for almost two years, a Hotmail account, no less. In that two years, I have managed to get absolutely NO junk mail AT ALL. I'm pretty damned good at not getting it. So to try to get it is something so counter-intuitive I may as well stop breathing. :)

Well if your only doing this for a job, you should get a crappy email address. Cause once you will have it, you will hate it.

We own several domains solely for this purpose.

Were you not getting it or did you just have a decent filter?

Well, it's Hotmail's filter, so however that is. I've just been that careful with what I do with it. :D
