Martin heads to Bigfoot Country to track the elusive beast, teaming up with a cagey old mountain man who proves to be a fierce and invaluable asset.

OMG there's no Bigfoot, but there's a haunting ghost lurking somewhere in those woods.

Okay Internet's Martin Sargent and friends, this was good, and this whole show idea is amazing to bring non extreme techies to the revision3 atmosphere. However, I personally am not sure the new episodes are as good as the pilot episodes. Why are they not available by the way?

Why does the video look crappy during Martin's hunt scene? I thought H.264 was supposed to be a superior quality format.

I'm about to give up on WebDrifter. It was a mistake having Alex Chiu's episode as the first one. Nothing can compare to it. Tonight's was rather disappointing.

This has been explained many times. Check other threads for links to the episodes, because I'm not searching for you. But I will tell you that they will put the old episodes back up once Martin is done interviewing/visiting people for the show. It seems that after seeing some episodes and how he makes fun of people, others don't so willingly agree to be on the show. Hmm...

The above post makes no sense, because if he is still interviewing, they can go to the website and view the recent episodes where he makes fun of people. And if he is done interviewing then they can put the old episodes back up ;)

Sorry 'bout that, I actually do remember that now... don't know what I was thinking...

I liked the ending bit with Martin and the Gun. Quite a dynamic and moving scene. I do hope some of the sites he'll visit in the future will be more interesting.

Martin, I want you to know that I did enjoy this episode. It was a bit less hilarious talking to the old man and all, but that's cool by me because Big Foot is a serious topic. I do believe bigfoot is out there somewhere, as well as many other unexplained things. Just look at the crazy species we have on Earth (duck billed platypus anyone?) How can anyone say that something doesn't exist just because we haven't found it yet? Also is it so hard to believe that there was at one time in history a horse with a horn on it's head that we now call a unicorn? There is a fish like that in the ocean (sorry can't think of the name.)

I also want to say thanks for using my suggestion about bringing in Jay and Joey into your show. (Though, I probably didn't have anything to do with it.)

I like how you can have fun with all these people and websites but in the end, we-the audience- learn a little something at the end, or atleast makes us curious enough to do a wiki search on the topic. :)

Can't wait til next week. See Ya.

Forgive me for asking if this has been discussed already, but why does Martin have a cane with him?

Dramatic reenactment was shown on Infected I think... He fell down the stairs.

Martin- You've lost the web-drifterness. It's time to let someone else do it. You had your run and failed. The web in this web drifter was barely even there. It was boring. The old guy mumbling was funny for 10 seconds, then it was just lame.

Were those blanks?

No, probably just a green gas/airsoft pistol with muzzle flashes added in with After Effects.

While I too thought this one was less funny than the other previous new episodes (Which have been pretty top notch) I don't think it was a weak episode. It was entertaining enough and the bigfoot hunting scene more than made up for the minor short comings of the interview part.

Tuesdays have become my favorite day of the week.

Hey, they can't all be gems. I know I'll still be tuning in.

Martin seems like a very awkward pimp with that cane. He should have worn a proper hat and shades too for good measure.

Most expensive Web Drifter Episode ever? Holy crap, the budget on this one must have been huge. I'm mean look at the last minute of the show; they clearly brought in John Woo to direct the gun fight scene. I hope they team up with him again, if Martin ever does an episode about Yellow Bamboo.

This is my first time posting on this site so hi everyone!

Anyway my husband's been watching this show since it started but this episode was by far our favorite.

When I was 16 my family drug me accross the country and Willow Creek was one of the places we stopped at. We didn't get to go to the museum that time though cause it was closed for the season which upset my mom a ton cause she apparently loves bigfoot stuff. We did drive through the tree it shows in the episode though.

Well anyhow me and my husband went in July of this year to California with my parents and they made an excuse to stop there again. My mom ended up talking to that old lady it shows at the begining for like two hours while she ranted on about crazy junk. We were trying so hard not to laugh at her that we ended up just going outside and eating blackberries off this huge bush next to the building while we waited. My husband was so mad about it till he saw this episode and now he thinks it's kind of cool that we've been there.

I've felt your pain Martin!!:p
