I'd like to see a Video Game show... get Sessler and Morgan away from G4! :)

That'd be cool I guess, but it could get a tad cliche.

Man Morgan and Adam on Rev3 would be sweet.

But they are trapped in G4 until they get terminated in 3 weeks.

I like that idea, but only because none of the other video game podcasts have really grabbed my attention.

ScrewAttack (http://www.screwattack.com) makes some great video game podcasts and short comedy videos. The site is updated daily since there's so much content coming in. It's pretty sweet.

Any specific one that's really good?

Don't mean to knock on the sess and the web, but I'm not sure revision3 "needs" them to have a good video game review show. Some of their charm comes from their dialogue, which is written for the most part. Just my two cents. :p

Angry Nintendo (soon to be Video Game) Nerd is the most popular show on that site, where he rants about the worst video games ever produced.

Awesome Video Games is okay every other episode. It's makes fun of the excited behavior people got when they received their first video game system back in the 80s.

SideScrollers is the main audio podcast, covering a wide variety of topics.

Video Game Vault is a series of one-minute video game reviews.

GameJew is...well...a Jewish gamer who acts goofy.

Other features include the Video Game Movie Quote of the Week (self-explanatory), Speed Run Sunday (the fastest recorded speed records in which a person beat an entire game from start to finish), and a random video at least once a week.

It should be limited to one show. It should be so that it alternates every episode one for reviewing games/tricks and cheat codes and one for previews of video games.

But maybe also a machinima show would be ok

If they do make one they must talk to Alex Lindsay. He knows everything about HD (and has a 1080P cam) and with the amount of emphasis the new generation of consoles put on the HD quality an SD or iPod quality podcast makes no sense.

They're getting fired/leaving in 3 weeks? Is this fact?

If so, Rev3 needs to snatch them up quick!

My favorite Video Game Podcast is "The 1up Show". I really like thier take on video games. If you have not seen it definetly check it out.

Definately agree...Rev3 needs a dedicated weekly gaming show to test/discuss/critique games, etc.

1up is sweet. I don't think Rev3 has the resources to produce a good videogame related show. They have the talent but they don't have the industry connections. 1Up is great because of EGM, PC Mag, etc where they can get their hands on the new games and tech. Rev3 would have to pay a lot of money to stay current with new games unless they have an ace up their sleves we don't know about yet

I hope they do get a video game show, the only descent show like that around is "The 1up Show". That show is a little too scripted, Rev3 should get a few people who talk shit about games and don't edit themselves for fear of whatever. People who verbally rape gaming companies for doing stupid shit and call games for what they are.

I always thought Sessler and Webb were funny back in the "good old days", now I think they are mildly retarded. Maybe its just the LAME writing and LAME jokes.

Honestly, I don't think Revision 3 needs a video game show. We get a little bit of that in Geekdrome and I don't really think they need a full fledged show for that. Any person on the internet can go on ign or gamespot and get all there game news, reviews and game oriented shows such as the 1up show and On the Spot. I mean im not gonna complain if they do end up adding a video game show, im just saying they really don't need one. But that's just me.

Yeah I concur with much of what has been said above. We need
-HD Quality Show with HD Quality Game Trailers and Footage
-News
-Previews
-Reviews
-Special Segments (Not nessacarilly whacky skits but like top 5 lists or favorite ____ game etc.)

That show is awesome. So far, they are the best ones with reviews.

The 1up show is one of my favorite podcasts out there. I enjoy EGM monthly too..but a monthly podcast doesn't really give me what I need.

And no Adam and Morgan aren't being terminated in 3 weeks. Unless they do what Martin Sargent did, and what they do in dialog is bash G4 left and right.

Is it me or do most of the games reviewed on x-play get 3 out 5 even when A or M review it and point out all the suck features or even ones they like? I think whoever writes A and M's stuff is great! It is the ONLY reason I watch. If that show even got cancelled, Rev3 needs to bring them over IMHO

I'd also like to see a great game review show.

Preferrably a show with, elaborate reviews and detailed scoring in various catagories. And also some comedy and fun. Somewhat like sessler and webb's reviews are.

Rev3 needs a gaming show, everything to do with gaming not just reviews. For example having lan parties like on the good old screen savers. Also visiting developers etc.

bman

this is perfect idea, like if this was started, some shows would be screens of people playing on lan parties, going back and forth through each persons computer and all that..

that would be cool

I don't think x-play getting cancelled is very probable. Its one of the top-rated shows on g4, if not the highest rated. Plus I don't think rev3 could pay them as much as they are getting at g4. I don't even see how rev3 is going to make money anyway.

Advertisements. There will eventually be ads at the beginning and end of every show on Rev3.

That's my guess. And I don't mind.

I'd prefer them at the beginning and the end of each show, kind of like they're already doing. But that's just me.

If REV3 plans on having a gaming show. Hopefully it will be the complete opposite of X-Play.

I can't stand that lame show with all there stupid skits and talking celebrity heads that pop in every review.

Hey guys,

For about 4 months now I have been debating whether or not to start an IPTV website. I have an idea for a tech show that I think would be entertaining. However, it also seems that there is large demand for a video game show.

I have never really got the concept of video game TV, so I was wondering if someone would enlighten me. What types of things are you looking for in the show? Reviews? Previews? An indepth explanation of what you would expect would be truely appreciated.

I agree X-Play isnt that great. But, Morgan and Adam are. Adam has done great in all the interview shows they have done on G4. And when Morgan was on TSS she was much better. A lot of it is the gimmick G4 and even TechTV wanted for X-Play. Never clicked with me.
