I have been a big fan of the show since #1. A fan of Kevin from the screensavers thru The Broken etc.. But drunk Kevin has gone from funny to kinda sad. Anyone else feel the same?

No, because he's a happy drunk. :) Diggnation becomes exponentially funnier the more inebriated Kevin & Alex get.

Do you live in Russia? China? Well, if you don't, then I doubt anyone is forcing you to watch the show.
Chill homie. Shoo.

I don't feel the same. It's not like they're drinking to forget problems, or going home to beat their kids. Or getting so pissed drunk they become incoherent and make asses of themselves.
They closely resemble lots of people their age (myself included) who sit around the apartment, the bar, whatever, have a few beers and discuss things that are important in their lives.
It's why I love the show so much. But... I usually get pissed drunk, become incoherent and make an ass of myself...

Their almost tame compared to a lot of people I know (granted most are college aged) but that isn't what I find sad. I enjoy them drunk they're funny.
The only time I've watched and really thought it was sad were a few episodes in a row where Kevin was just acting desperate. I can't remember any of the exact one's but there were a few. It happens. Haven't seen any like that for a few though, what with that ominous "she" and all. Just my 2 cents.

Hello,
Da, da, I live in Russia and I am forced to watch Diggnation. Therefore I have no choice but to observe the shameless debauchery known as American beer drinking. Here in Russia my opressors tie me to chair , put my feet in a bowl of Crisco, attach clothespins to my nipples , and pour Vanilla Stoli down my hatch. Well I hate Vanilla Stoli. but in my sad maniacal state I occasionally laugh at Diggnation.

I've always hated that argument, even when people were actually complaining about the subject.

Yea, I hate people that try to act intelligent who actually aren't too.
It just seems like an easy way out instead of facing whatever it is that the person is talking about. Because instead of it being "No, you're wrong", it's "You're right, but I'm fine with it, and if you're not, then you obviously need to stop with whatever it is that you're doing."

Dude, it's a friggin podcast. Now look, I 100% agree with you when people use the cop-out of "if you don't like America, leave" because I always say: "no, I don't like America, so let's change it."
But this kid is asking Kevin to change the sole basis of what he's become, and brought from the ground up because "he doesn't like it."
I mean seriously, take the pacifier out of your mouth, and don't watch the show. You're trying to make it seem like there's some greater purpose here and so that's not a great argument. It's a podcast. Not the economics of a country.
Crumbles, I hate you so much. You do bring up two good points though: 1) This is not economics, and 2) Don't be a *****. They are both two very good things to keep in mind before you decide to make a post.

Wasn't Kevin's First words to LaLa "Well,.... let's do a shot?" Looks like the begining of a perfect relationship. XD

I don't know Kevin, of course. But, both he and Alex just don't seem to be the kind of power-drinkers that do it ALL the time. Sure, they party pretty hard. But, I'm sure they only get out-of-control on Diggnation.

Which is... once a week :)
But, I don't think they get "out of control" on Diggnation.

Not everyweek. However, there have been times...
yea they don't get out of control, the most "out of control" thing was the spilling beer. Which really isn't out of control lmao.

Two words: Re and No.
But, I don't look at Alex's alcoholism as being out of control. I look at it as being a role model for America's youth!

it was a perfect comedic set-up. hes buzzed/drunk and actually thinks about it before he does it and still messes up. (i liked the subtitle at the bottom)
