GEOFF JOHNS TALKS TO GREG RUCKA ABOUT THE CRIME BIBLE: FIVE BOOKS OF BLOOD (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=134764)

by Geoff Johns

Yo! Hope everyone is having a good day ? and if you're reading Newsarama at work or in class, it can't be that bad.

As most of you probably know, I was one of the four writers of DC?s 52. You've heard all of us go on-and-on about how challenging and rewarding it was, how we loved working and learning from each other and how, for now (and I'll put emphasis on for now), we've all gone our separate ways to work on various projects. Some of them have grown out of 52 like Booster Gold. And as much as I love Black Adam (you rule, Mahnke!), the one character I've been dying to follow as a reader has been Renee Montoya ? The Question. That's due to the work Greg Rucka has crafted for her over the years in the world of Batman, Gotham Central and 52. Greg is one of my best friends and a writer I respect tremendously and greatly enjoy.

When I heard Greg was going to write Crime Bible: The Five Books of Blood - or as Mike Siglain, Greg and I like to call it for short The Question! ? I started asking him a million questions about what he was going to do. Long story short, me interviewing him about what he's planning grew out of that. So without anymore rambling I'd like to help spread the word about one of the most books I've been anticipating this year......
