Episode 3 (http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/thelamp) has been released, and this time it looks like we'll get a glimpse of how Bert creates some of his amazing artworks (http://www.bertmonroy.com/fineart/text/fineart1.htm).
I love this show!

That was amazing.
Delicious.
Honestly, this has got to be one of the best podcasts on the internet.
Thanks for taking your time on this one.
But, I have one little thing with the end of it. I'm all about cool fonts and sweet graphics to incorporate into the show, but the font you guys are using for the email/show link is hardly readable, at least for the amount of time you give for it to be read.

Yet another amazing episode of Pixel Perfect from Bert. This is hands down the best show on Revision 3 and one of the best podcasts/internet shows ever produced. This show is perfect, it is so professional and you get so much out of that. Me being someone who uses photoshop often I can't help but love every second of this show, and look forward to seeing more. Bert is a god. Like I have said before, this is a show for beginners and experts!

So.... should we just wait indefinitly until REV3 puts up those files that Bert was talking about? I mean seriously, how hard is this guys? You always talk about going to your website to download what you're talking about, only to find one of two things:
They don't exist.
The links are broken.
Hell, the links are STILL broken on the Asterisk .conf downloads.... sheesh....
Anyway.... despite that... this show is AWESOME. I look forward to it more than Diggnation now. I was totally pumped that a new episode was out when I woke up this morning.

I totally agree. I couldn't really read anything. I was like: "Um, I guess I'll just take your word for it that it says that." Definitly not a pixel perfect font...
I think it's funny how Pixel Perfect is (with the exception of NOTMTV, and Mysteries of Science Explained) the only pilont show to release more than one episode. It has been releasing them on a fairly regular basis and the quality is better than some of Revision3's other shows, yet its still considered a Pilot series and doesn't have its own Forumn. What is the deal Rev3!

You didn't hear? They are going to do it tomorrow. With links that work and everything!
*disclaimer*
RV3's "tomorrow" really means 2012 and only guarentee's 2 working links per page.

I mean, I'm all for giving Revision 3 all the time in the world to work out all the problems with the new site and forums, but when you guys say something is going to be there... it should be there.
Things seem to be really picking up for Revision 3, but they seem to only be shooting themselves in the foot by not getting on a set schedule and getting shit done.
I showed my friend Pixel Perfect and he absolutely loved it. But, I had to remind him just to come back for the new episode. I realize that it being a pilot is one thing, but that's really just an excuse. If it was clear that Pixel Perfect will be out on ______ and everything is working and everything that is said to be on the site is actually there, he will know when to come back. Revision 3 has some great shows, but except for Diggnation and Geekdrome, Revision 3 is surviving because so many people are willing to come check this website everyday.
It shouldn't be a surprise when an episode of InDigital or Control-Alt-Chicken comes out.
Another great episode.
As far as I'm concerned, Pixel Perfect is easily the best Rev3 show. It's informative, well produced, and Bert explains things simply but without being patronising. Excellent stuff.
It feels as if the rev3 crew really doesn't a shit about fans' opinions/concerns. They do things on their own terms, and that is that, and that's not the right way to go about things.
For instance, fans here don't get any responses from any show hosts or from the crew in general regarding ideas/suggestions or just plain conversation, and it's clear to see that these forums are slowly dying, all except the geekdrome forums, because their hosts actually care.

This show will go big places...I can see it being a huge hit very soon. I still like Diggnation just because of the history and that I have been watching it for over a year but wow, PixelPerfect is amazing.

Rev3 should definitely promote PP from a pilot show and give it its own forum.
GREAT GREAT show.
PS: I reccomend checking out the HD version, its soo much more fun to watch.

Another great episode and helps me to learn alot about Photoshop, just like the others have.
I also like the fact that I didn't have to end up downloading the QT version and then run that through Sorenson Squeeze just so I have a good WMV version.

This is my fav show now. Bert looks like Rufus from Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure.
I wish Revision3 would put out a show schedule though. And what happened to the in-show product placement that was going to give the VC's a return on their investment?
This is easily one of the most informative/educational podcasts out there at the minute and has instantly made it into my favourite. Hopefully Bert continues to make more great podcasts and steadily release them in the same timeframe as the previous have been released :D

I agree. It's one of the only select few netcasts on the Internet that is just full of really useful information.
Great job, Bert!

Absolutly amazing pod/netcast. This has to be one of the best on the internet (aside from Diggnation, they're in different genres).
Bert, thanks so much for doing this, it's such a huge help. I like how you focus on teaching a technique and not just showing the steps. It shows that you really know your stuff because you're instructions are never broken apart and you never seem at a loss.
I see this as one of Rev3's BEST out there right now, I hope this gets a place in the schedule and stays around for a very, very long time.
Loved it and find my self looking forward to this every week.
Also thanks for making the tools available to play with and for taking viewer ideas.

Wow this episode is almost 3 years old! Good to know people are re-watching them... Anyway it should be (I'm using OS X and CS4 but it should be along the same lines on CS3)
View > Show > Grid or a keyboard shortcut of cmd+' (probably ctrl+' on Windows)
Hope that helps, let me know!
