I have been downloading your shows in "XviD-small" for a long time now, but recently your latest shows will not play video (just audio). Am using Win Media Player 9 and XviD codec v1.1.3. Specifically "infected--0045--glitter--small.xvid.avi" and "pixelperfect--0054--retouching--small.xvid.avi" will not play and WMP displays a codec error. All the older XviD shows previously downloaded still play just fine.
What gives? Have you changed something in your encoding process?

i downloaded the small version and it works in VLC (my default player). I tried it in WMP9 and had the same problem, although i don't know if i ever install the divx codec.
why don't you just download the wmv small format if you are using WMP anyways?

timbro,
I have a DVD player connected to a living room system that will play DivX & Xvid files directly burned to CD-R or DVD-R disks.
I hope this gets investigated by someone at Revision3, because I enjoy the downloaded content being easily played on a big screein.

I am pretty sure on what the issue is. On those particular issues, we used a different encoder for the Xvid files. Interesting that it doesn't work for your particular setup because they work fine with other players.

I can think of other reasons, but those are two to start with.

Thanks, revision3 guys,
"infected--0045--glitter--small.wmv" downloads/plays quite well. As it should. Thanks for fixing the bad xvid encoding stuff.
