This show will be starting in January on the Sci-Fi channel. The books by Jim Butcher are great and I am really looking forward to the series. Any other Harry fans on the boards?

and they don't even have the greatest sci-fi show of all time -- Doctor Who.
yeah, and locally our sci-fi channel called Space Channel doesn't have Doctor Who either. It takes the CBC (our government owned station) to show the new episodes... BBC Canada only shows the old episodes.

the protagonist is Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, the only wizard in the Chicago yellow pages. he has a very Spidey personality, always being funny when he is in mortal harm. if Sci-Fi is true to the plot of the books then the series will have a great mythos that is bigger than anything Buffy or Charmed ever came up with. there are subdivisions of wizards, vampires, and faeries, all fighting against one another.

You just sold me on this show man. I really like serialized shows that reference past episodes and events and plus the show sounds cool.
