Holy crap - 44.5 broadband lines per household in the US ... I need to install more lines.

Cable, phone line 1 (hardly broadband, but it could take DSL), phone line 2 (ditto phoneline 1), EVDO Cellular broadband.

I have 2, 4 at a pinch ...

The real question is how much of that bandwidth is being used for porn??

as a collective conciousness, I wasn't referring to klitzy... although I'll try and open a new thread about whether Klitzy is the geek he thinks he is. :D ;)

What the **** is a broadband line, and how do you apply it to a household?! I recognize the words, but that sentence makes no sense to me...

Same. I have DSL. To me that seems like it is one broadband line. Can someone explain what they mean?

hahahah, nice. :D

seriously... a broadband line is considered a line that is used for broadband transmissions. It can be either a dedicated line, or a partitioned line (such as a DSL line or Cable). It typically handles large amounts of bandwidth. It is applied to a housefold in terms of a single line per household, although some households may have multiple broadband lines to accomodate larger amounts of porn.

Thats a lot of porn.

American's aren't the geeks they thought they were

1. Most net-savvy American nerds know that the US is less wired when it comes to broadband. News flash: Our cellphones aren't as cool either.

2. You meant "Americans". :)
