Has anyone heard of this? It's a website started by Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon. Rob Schrab made Robot Bastard and I think he co-created the pilot of Heat Vision and Jack with Dan Harmon. The pilot is on youtube if you want to go check it out. And they wrote Monster House, but that's on the bottom of the list. Anyway, this website is just like a T.V. channel. It lives on 5-minute short films submitted by viewers. It's based in L.A. and it's had stars on like Jack Black and Drew Carey. Most of the shows are of good quality in most areas. I'm sure most of us here are creative people and I just wanted to know if anyone was interested in submitting something or just going to the Halloween screening on the 29th. Yes, they hold screenings at which pilots and previously selected pilots (called prime time shows) are shown to the audience. Here's the address and times:
Sunday, October 29th
7:30 pm
9:30 pm
6356 Hollywood Blvd. (second level)
Los Angeles, CA 90028
323-817-FILM for reservations
Me and my friend have been keeping up with it for awhile and our first submission is gonna be there. Even though we have only a weekend left and still need to shoot more than half of it. The deadline for this screening is the 24th, so if you're thinking of making anything you might want to wait. I think me and my friend might have a chance, but we don't have very good equipment or great actors or a good editing program... we're still good though, in a very amateur-ish way. Tell me what you think and if you're going to go to this month's screening. I won't be going, because I live half a country away and I'm only 15, which means no geekdrome, Wii eve, kickball extravaganza.
