Sure it may be considered maudlin to have a thread for it but warm wishes are always welcome when you're the one in the sick bed.
Josh, you can't spare the pounds! The boys do a valiant job of carrying on without you but the world doesn't turn as smoothly without the three comic musketeers. I hope you are out of the hospital already and mending quickly.
Did you ask to have it put in a jar for you?
All responses in this thread must be heartfelt, sappy or funny enough to risk him bursting his stitches. They shouldn't actually burst, mind you. It's the accuracy of your humor that counts.

Earlier this week, doctors determined that Josh's appendix was a hipster and as such, it had to be removed.

It's solely out of respect for Josh that I haven't photoshopped his diseased appendix destroying Tokyo.

Not to be a stickler, but I'd avoid most Josh/Body part jokes. I don't want anything to happen to the guy.
I think we're all pretty partial to him.

I had perhaps the worst social faux pas of my life when I quoted that movie to a girl who's father had, unbeknownst to me, actually died of an undiagnosed brain tumor.
I've done that a lot in my life. Not specifically with that, but with lots of things.
It sucks. You go from "I'm so clever" to "I'm a giant a-hole" in less than a second.

One of my worst was when a girl asked me how old I thought she was and I said 32 and she was 23. And I was old enough to know better!
