I just recently switched my PS3's wireless connection to wired and WOW, I haven't been disconnected in Warhawk since I switched! All aspects of my PS3's online network is BLAZING fast and I HIGHLY suggest that anyone with a weak or lagging connect make the switch. A 50 ft. Ethernet cable, $41. The joy of pwning a noob in Warhawk, PRICELESS. :D

I thought this was well known stuff. I play fight night and can tell immediately if someone is using a router and I tell them to f off if they are. There is absolutely no such thing as consistent throughput for a router user in gaming.

Where'd you get you $41 50 ft cable? I got mine from a Verizon hot spot network installer but it's on it's way out.

I got it at Best Buy. It's the "Geek Squad" brand.

I got mine at home depot.

Spool of Cat5e, connectors, crimper ... how long would you like it?

Yeh I'm lucky. A friend of mine I met online (socom) was in los angeles installing Verizon hot spots. He basically layed (laid?) hundreds of miles of ethernet, in every 3rd floor of all the hotels out here. I mentioned to him that I had to use alot of phone wire to get my modem near my playstation as computer/phone, weren't near living room and he went to his car and came back smiling. He was actually from Baton Rouge and was here while the hurricane hit.
