Try being at work, having had an amazing day yesterday, and going on Facebook to find out the one you love is publicly looking for a date for Friday, despite plans to stay with you this weekend. Try calling that person and finding out he's not kidding. Try having everyone you know now suddenly wondering what the fvck is going on, but you don't know yourself because just yesterday you were treated so lovingly and today you find out you're being replaced by anyone who answers. And the event he's looking for a date to is an event you're attending already!!

Something about a man admitting to being "scared" and "feeling too vulnerable" doesn't ring true. I think he's just trying to justify a distance attitude. Whatever you call it, he's abusing you. There's absolutely no reason why a love affair should make you constantly miserable. Every affair has it's ups and downs and a good fraction of heartache. But, it's not supposed to be that way by design.

My bottom line, if a partner does not express an expectation to make a relationship serious, this relationship is just an affair. When an affair ceases to be fun for either party for any reason, why continue it? I don't care what level of love is involved. Loving someone is totally irrelevant if that love controls you and make you miserable.

Love makes you crazy insecure and sad sporadically. But, it should make you happy, sane and completely secure the rest of the time.
