Okay, so there I was reading the new All New Atom. Now this is the first time I've read this particular book, and I doubt I'll be going back, because it... well, it was shit. But then, skimming through it again... I come across this!

Maybe I will be coming back next month? Seem like whoever's drawing this has awesome taste in video podcasts.

(Also, is it just me or does he have Alex's Hair?)

Damn you Cannata for knowing what I was trying not to share with the internets. I guess saying my cousin made me watch it during dinner the other night isn't going to work now :(

Atom is drawn by the ever fantastic Mike Norton.
He has his own podcast called CrankCast and is sometimes on Around Comics. He's mentioned Totally Rad Show quite a few times, so I'm not shocked to see that.
He is the man!

How is CrankCast compared to Around Comics. AC was fun to listen to from time to time but was a bit boring other times.

As for the TRS T-shirt...awesome. Now we need to get one on mainstream TV. I watched Chuck for the first time Monday. (I was stuck in a hotel room) It wasn't terrible. Get him to wear one...or better yet, get the ladies Ts and have his sister wear it! Yea!

CrankCast is great.
My question to you is, what parts of Around Comics do you like?
Do you like the interviews and informed, news sections?
Or do you like the greatest weird rants about strange things that don't always pertain to comics?

If you like the weird rants, you'll love CrankCast!

So slightly off subject (but on the subject of Nickelodeon), over coffee last night one of my friends brought up that she had worked for Klasky Csupo for a few years.... the 7-year-old in me was in awe :) I loved those cartoons when I was little.

-JeffAll Nick shows use it, I think. So sue me, I caught an episode of Drake & Josh. =p

Hmm... next month, huh? I may just have a scan. Sounds like something awesome will await me.

Still, I was hoping The Atom would be a good read because of how important Ray Palmer has become in the whole Countdown thing (which I love), but it let me down. Maybe it'll get better?

You know I still can't find Invincible Vol 1 at any book store near me both in San Fran or Raleigh? Makes me want to read it even more :(

Mike Norton, the artist is a big fan of TRS and Diggnation. We introduced him to Jeff, Dan, and Alex in San Diego this past year, and Mike came to the iFanboy/TRS party for a while. He's a great guy, and a very underappreciate artist.

I just picked this up and read it through. My first trade paperback to read ever and I'm glad. It was really good.

What did Bloom County always use? I think it was a bunch of grapes.
