If you ever get a chance watch the actual Japanese versions. It's called Super Sentai, done in tokusatsu format. OH and in addition try and find all the 2000-2005 Kamen Rider episodes, also another good tokusatsu.

god these guys are so funny. The juggernaut bit went on a little too long... but this one is 8 minutes long and all hilarious. :D :D :D

Power Rangers only proved to me that if you catch them young enough, you (the entertainment industry) can breed children into being stupid enough to derive entertainment from absolutely anything, no matter how pointless, lame or awful.
Not that GI Joe or anything like that was any better a generation before that. I mean, that was just a half hour long commercial (paid for and slated as commercial advertising by Mattell or whoever made the toys back then).
Childhood is best experienced by children. Reviewing it from the eyes of an adult just spoils it. :/
YEAH! And Santa Claus is FAKE! So is the EASTER BUNNY! So **** all those memories!!! >:O
...sarcasm...lalala...also, after watching this i realized how AWESOME a costume the MEGAZORD would be. MAN. SO good. I was thinking in this video, though, that not the multi headed brontosaurus thing would come out, but the turtle. Remember the turtle? That shit was B A N A N A S.
And don't hate on Power Rangers, they were (just like they and most children's cartoons today are) just rippin off Japan, like we've always done since the 80's. If you wanna hate on Japanese rip offs, at least rip on the WORST: (I still watched these every day) Superhuman Samurai Cybersquad (starring the Lawrence brothers, -Joey...woah!) and V R Troopers. They made me FEEL like I was playing with cheap flea market versions of power ranger toys that I would pretend were authentic, but would not bring them to school...*sigh*....

I will agree with you on Super Human Samurai SyberSquad, but VR Troopers was a good show =x. And if you really wanna talk about the worst you need Big Bad Beetle Borgs and Masked Rider, but of those were totally worse than VR Troopers.

true. i mean i did watch VR Troopers everyday as a child, and the show to me is synonymous with cereal. it makes me feel nice. still sucked though. i really wanna watch an episode of that shit too. hahaha virtual reality haha. i love the 90's.
