Robots will drive your car: Congrats to CMU's Tartan Racing and their vehicle, Boss, which won the DARPA Urban Challenge 14 MPH over a 55 mile course, but, hey, unlike most drivers in San Francisco, it obeyed the traffic laws.

Asus Eee PC: there's a lot of hype around this 2 pound portable notebook. It's got a ton of promise, but there's not a lot of processing power, or storage.

Finally: Gmail has added support for IMAP. That means a much easier time syncing your mail across different email clients, such as a cell phone and your home machine. We showed you how to turn it on in Gmail, here's Google's help page for setting up your clients.

Our favorite microbloggging tool, Tumblr, shares pictures, photos, your text, videos, you get the idea. Version 3.0, adds a niftier dashboard, two major video updates and the ability to post audio files. Plus "Channels" which lets you share stuff with a group. Watch out, Pownce!

Our producer Neha Tiwari got to rock out one afternoon with Veronica Belmont... playing the new Guitar Hero III: You can catch more Vernonica at Mahalo Daily.

Fort Huachuca is pronounced 'wha-choo-ka.' It's the home of the US Army's Military Intelligence. Most MI jobs in the Army go there to train up .

I just wanted to login and let you know how happy I was with this episode. I've been watching them all from the start. But this is the very first one I've felt was so great I want to congratulate you on.

I hope you base this episode as a template of shows to come.

P.s. The high quaility is great on the tv!! Thank you !!!

The last couple of Tekzilla episodes have been viewed, by me at least, on an iPod screen. However today I was watching ep 7 on a 42" display and the pulsating Tekzilla logo displayed on the TV in the background was really distracting.

Can I put in a request for a static image on the TV in future... or am I the only one finding this an issue ? (in which case I'll go back under my rock!)

Other than that, great show keep up the good work!

I noticed it this episode and thought cool and then ignored it again. Didn't know it pulsated the entire time.

I watched it on a 65" TV and didn't notice it... Great I hope I forget about it by episode 8 or else I will notice it... I can see how it can be annoying (I went back to see what everyone was talking about).

It was a good episode, and great to have Patrick back (not that I've anything against Sarah.)

Now if I could just remember most of it...I was a bit distracted.

I was one of the most skeptical people at the start of tekzilla, and I'm happy to say that this episode is what sold me on it. Very well done, professional, fun, timely, well executed, and interesting. Very very good job. I've got from highly unimpressed, to quite impressed. Great job.

I really am starting to enjoy the show. Patrick and Jessica really have a good chemistry going on, and the stories, explanations and set keeps getting better! Plus, Neha Tiwari as a field reporter really adds to the show...Keep it up, guys!

Even though it looks a bit small - the EEE looks to be totally awesome. I love the slim footprint and it's small enough to fit in alongside my other gear in the bag I already carry!

This is probably because I suck at guitar hero but I get really bored at watching anything guitar hero related especially reviews. Sorry Neha. :p

I did enjoy seeing ASUS EEEPC, however I don't get the hype. If I wanted to carry around a small computer device to surf the web and view my documents. I would get a OQO (http://www.oqo.com) or like a Nokia N800 (http://www.nseries.com/products/n800/#l=products,n800,demo) or N810 (http://www.nseries.com/products/n800/#l=products,n810,demo). I know the OQO is way out of the price range, but the others to are easily within the eeepc price range when you shop around for one on the web. And they don't tell you this on the website but you can easily add 4 GB microsd card instead of the tech spec upgrade to 2 GB. Thanks guys keep up the good work on the show.
