Hi Everyone,

Well my wife and I are techie, game loving, movie watchers. And recently (about 3-4 episodes ago) we discovered the TRS. Goodness me. Speaking to the converted I realize, but the TRS has become our favorite viewing experience of the week.

Whilst there are other shows that cover the subject matter, Alex, Dan and Jeff come across as truly loving geeky stuff, without the common problem of other shows, that is coming across as smug, overly cool, un-natural and forced.

Its so apparent they are great guys who enjoy what they do. Its also nice to be able to watch a show with my wife that doesnt become overly 'college humour' themed as well.

Great stuff! Lifelong viewers here :)

It's always great to find other folks who can appreciate what these guys are doing.

I was instantly impressed w/their production values when I started tuning in. I was very surprised since I'd seen Alex on Diggnation, and I think they work w/the bare minimum of production values.. Both shows rank as my favorite podcasts of all time.

I am always conflicted in thinking.. "These guys are good, why aren't they on TV? from the crew to the hosts, these guys are entertaining and good at what they do.." But then I think, "Wait! If they go to TV, I'll lose my TRS and my Diggnation, you know the networks will just F*** it all to Hell."

Anyways, enough ranting...

Welcome!

It's very cool to see that other people are able to enjoy the Totally Rad Show with their wives and husbands. I found the show just about a month ago and have been catching up from episode 1. My wife now watches the show with me and she likes it a lot. I agree with you 100% that this show resonates with people becuase Alex, Jeff and Dan are so genuine with their exitment and enthusiasm.

Anyways, even though I am a newbie also, WELCOME ABOARD!

I remember how much fun it can be/is to discover podcast late into it's "life", not that I'm implying TRS is dying.

I got into Geekdrome (R.I.P) about 20 episodes in and I was getting to see a new episode every couple of days, it was great.

Welcome and enjoy, though get used to a lot of inside jokes that we never get :(
