I don't know if there is a way to make a topic or separate topics like this sticky but I think it would be great to make a/multiple regional fan sections. Might make for a way for some totally rad people to meet others of the same ilk and bond over some the latest news and get together for games and movies too.
But I figure I'd get the ball rolling for Columbus, OH. Maybe there can be a local TRS meet and greet at Gameworks or Dave and Busters.
Just a thought.

Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with frappr but what I was thinking was something more along the lines of cheap ass gamer's regional deals boards. If there were regional subthreads for radders to talk about local events and such coming up, plan movie viewings, etc.
From what I've seen on frappr it just kind of maps where you are, and lets you send messages to eachother.

We've been talking about trying to do something like this on totallyradshow.com. I'd love to hear if there is more interest and what kinds of things you'd all like to see.

Representing Toronto.
I've thrown the idea around before on some other threads, but it didn't seem to pickup up enough steam. I suppose there aren't a lot of Canadian viewers out there...guess I'd better get to work and grab my 6-shooter and TRS flyers.

I'm down here in Florida; I share the state with the totally rad Serenity, so there are at least 2 of us representing. For your sakes, I hope there are no more of you here as I detest this state and look forward to a year from now when I can represent Washington with Patch and fashionDR :D

It's ok, I don't think anyone under 60 and above 16 actually enjoys Florida.
They say you get used to the heat but I've been here 28 years and ... nope, still not used to it.

ahhh.. florida heat.. one of only two heats that people always need to describe as something else.. Desert==dry heat.. like an oven. Florida/Tropics==humid heat...like a rice cooker..
I live far too long in the tropical regions of this planet.. so now I choose to live in bright sunny.. scratch that.. dark and gloomy Chicago. If for no other reason than the fact that I can always add another layer of clothes if I get cold.. can't go around removing my skin if I get too warm..

You're not the only one. The Frappr map (http://www.frappr.com/totallyradshow) shows a couple others but I'm not sure how active they are.
I'm guessing a lot of the TRS fans just don't hit the forums. I have a hard time believing that TRS isn't a huge hit on Universities and Nashville sure has it's share.

Just a word about statistical sampling. If the Frappr map shows that you're the only TRS fan in a particular area, you're not actually alone. If your divide the number of total TRS fan by the number of fans that use the Frappr map. You can compute the number of expected fans in your area. That is, if ten thousand fans of the podcast exist but only only one hundred use the Frappr, each Frappr user actually represent 100 fans.

Chicago here. Any others?
Not in Chicago, but I am in Decatur...I finally finished up in Nebraska...I don't know how long I will be here in Decatur, but I am enjoying it so far...The only downside is that it is in the Central Time Zone, but close to the Eastern Time Zone, so it gets dark around 4:30:( Not good for someone who is practically blind at night:) But I will keep my location updated on the map when I move on to a new place every few months.

Representing Connecticut. And I swear if there is another TRS or even a Rev3 fan that lives in or near Wolcott, CT, I'll eat my TRS hoodie!
(Well, maybe I won't swear to it. It's a nice hoodie. And then, of course, I'd have to buy a new one...)
