Would you want anyone in the world to be able to see everything you do, day or night? That's exactly how Justin Kan of justin.tv lives his life. Eating, going on dates, riding his motorcycle, you name it, you can view him doing it, 24/7. But he's not a narcissist. He's a businessman. And he's hoping the network of other so-called 'life casters' he's assembled on his site will help him build a new media empire. Or at least keep him from having to get a real job for a while.

All this, plus Martin tries to become a life caster himself, with some fairly disturbing results.

Say what you want about Martin, but he's smart enough to remove the trunk escape pull tab from his car.

I think the funniest part for me was that it really seemed like Justin thought Martin was a huge asshole. But yeah having a camera on your head all the time is nothing compared to having a rubber wet suit fetish at 65.

I thought this was the second best episode to Alex Chui.

Bravo Martin, I loved the episode. The funniest part was reading what the idiots who actually watch that crap, thought about marty. Does anyone have a full transcript of the chat log from the interview?

Keep on drifting.

Wow. I barely made it through this episode. I hate being negative, but damn, this one sucked.

I enjoyed it a lot. The whole " Okay you can start rolling now" bit cracked me up every time. Sure it might have been scripted but it's still funny.

I mean, we knew what we wanted to do, but nothing on Justin's part was scripted (nor did he have any inkling how any of this might turn out, nor do any of our interviewees). Here's a bit of behind the scenes information: anytime you go into an interview situation, you might have a few questions in your head you plan to ask. If that's scripting, then I'm guilty. But our interviews are in no way nearly as scripted, nor do we take as many liberties in the edit room, as say Daily Show correspondents might. When we ask a question, the response you see from the guest is the actual response, with no editing in different responses to different questions unless it's absolutely required for time constraints, but never at the expense of the guest to make him or her look silly. That's not to say those bits on The Daily Show aren't great, they usually are. And I'm not trying to make a comparison; they're fundamentally different.

Also, you never really know what you're going to get out of an interviewee until you're in the room with them. A guy who dresses like Peter Pan or a guy who wears nothing but rubber in the swamps of Mississippi will of course be a very different kind of interview than a San Francisco businessman like Justin. Though I really liked Justin and this episode.

Thanks for watching everyone, and we appreciate ALL of your comments.

i think martin does a good job of getting some reactions from the people he interviews. he'll ask a sex question or he'll play a game like the one where he asks justin.tv about the situations in which he would turn the cameras off. martin almost always asks the sex question lol

I liked it very much! Maybe the "turn it off" stuff was a bit exaggerated, but I stille think this was one of the best episodes.

I am not sure how I felt about that one.. I can't say I HATED it though, and it was great to see Joey in the trunk.. Hey Martin, did you remember to let him out?

Also, this:

I must say I did enjoy this episode. The turn the camera gag was a bit overdone but it was still enteraining. I only wish someone would have advertised about this when Martin was actually doing the interview. Then I could have seen this in real time.

This truly is the most original show on the Web, with great production values. Marty is a friggin' genius. I loved him on TechTV and love him even more now (y'know like someone loves that doggy in the window...not the other way).

Aside from making a great show, Web Drifter has the best intro. I crack up every time I watch the intro--great stuff, don't ever change it!

Total Fanboy.

I like Infected, but this show is too staged and fake. Justin was great, but Martin... why tape a camera to your head!?! It's not funny.

Yeah word. btw if anyone knows, what music did they use while he was interviewing? I really liked the instrumental stuff they were playing after martin started wyling about getting makeup, they also played it again before he taped a camera to his head during the "two days later..." part.

If anyone knows the song plz tell me!
