The iFanboy Cover Art Rodeo Round-Up for November 14, 2007

This is an amazing week for comics in general. The cover art is pretty darn good too. Which cover art did you like best? Least? Notable for some other reason?

My favorite cover art for this week is a book from last week, but since I didn't get it until today.... Lobster Johnson: The Iron Prometheus #3. Awesomely beautiful.

I also liked the New Avengers #36.

But certainly worthy of mention is the beautiful art from Captain Marvel #1.

Suicide is a nice cover this week.

My two Favorites are:
Marvel Presents -It's a typical Magneto pose, but I really like it
Fables -If you don't think these covers are epic, you should seriously think about never picking up a comic book again

That Fables cover is amazing.

I always love Fables covers, but never put them on my list, mostly because they're all basically the same. They're still pretty high up there, and extremely beautiful though.

I thought Suicide Squads cover was meh

The Marvel Comics Presents cover was sort of wrecked by the text. I literally was seconds away from not buying it because I thought it was one of those "Marvel Spotlight" interview-with-the-creator magazines.

If no one has noticed, I love covers that are really in your face with using their simplicity to get the point across. It's why I love that WW cover. Making up both the back and foreground with gorillas was a stroke of genius. It makes Diana pop that much more.

I thought Suicide Squads cover was mehI think the idea was better than the execution. They're all holding their weapons really awkward.
