Crackerjack reporter Sarah Lane investigates the Thanksgiving holiday, power adapters, and even gets a Nantucket geography lesson. If it's random, irrelevant, and a slightly ridiculous, you'll find it on the Revision3 Gazette!

Nice peak at the MAME cabinet and studio. Keep up the good work Sarah.
Any chance chance Jim L will do a meet and greet with the fans while he's up in New Hampshire?, I'd buy him a drink.:)

The three things I loved in this episode.....and perhaps an explanation needed as somethings may sound strange.
1) The brand new switcher. Nothing like having some new tech around to make you feel good. *The explanation* Im a broadcasting student and just love nothing more than being one of the following: the switcher, the AD, or the cameraman.
2) The Pump Audio harddrive: Its always good to know where the music came from and that there is obviously such a wide variety of useable music.
3) That the episode had audio.......lets face it its more fun to poke fun sometimes but we do it lin love Sarah.

Sarah: I like brussels sprouts, they make your pee taste weird though...er...I mean smell weird, I don't actually drink my own pee.
Jim: *laughs* Thinking to himself inside 'Sarah is really disgusting'
P.S. I like Martin Sargent on the Gazette, hes really funny.
And Sarah you sure have changed since TechTV (what with drinking your own pee and whatnot) ;)

Another great episode, cool to see what everyone is doing for thanksgiving, and The Mame, and I know how Dave feels, I'm doing something quite boring also, I have to completely re-wire my light fixture so yeah kinda long. :P

I too know what its like to be stuck with a bunch of stage pins but nowhere to plug them in. I changed the plug thing a couple times for random theater stuff, but when my school rents "fixtures" (I always disliked when people call them that) we just rent adapters. I guess I could make them myself but that'd be too much of a hassle when its not me fronting the bill.

If I ever start a band, I want our first album to be called the Guacamole Act of 1917.

Great EP, really enjoyed the fact there was sound too... I just wish Martin could have been 'normal' for 3 seconds and said what he was really doing for Thanksgiving...

The only part I liked in this episode was when Sarah made fun of Martin's pen for smelling. What a sucker.
...I just wish Martin could have been 'normal' for 3 seconds...I've wished that too. I think even Sarah was getting tired of it in this episode.
There's a Sonic commercial here in GA where these two guys are sitting in a car and one guy asks the other, which part do you like better, the steak or the egg? And the guy says: "Well, they are pretty much the same" and the other guy starts going on and on about all this bullshit and the guy just interrupts him and blurts out: "Steak. I like the steak better. I'm just going to cut that off right there because I don't want to hear you talk."
That's how I feel about Martin sometimes.

I would be severly disappointed if martin acted "normal"

BTW, 'The Guacamole Act of 1917' is by Branch Manager (http://dischord.com/band/branchmanager) off their Anything Tribal LP on Dischord Records (http://dischord.com/) (the label of Fugazi, Minor Threat, etc.)

why? I can understand it on other shows, but the Gazette is supposed to be a behind the scenes look. Assuming that his stuff is an act, why can't he act normal for this behind the scenes stuff? If it isn't an act, then I can positively say that Martin and I would never be able to hang out or anything, hell I hate it when he comes on shows that are not his own and does his spiel, and I avoid his shows like the plague.

One more reason why Infected was cancelled if you ask me... its annoying.
Sarah your show is great.. keep up the great work. Maybe you could give us a tour of the city SanFran on an episode.. show us the city you all live in and the cool spots you like to hang out at?

I totally agree. I thought the map was funny but it would be nice to just hear him talk without all the schtick for once.
Open up Martin.. let us in..:D

I thought Sarah and Martin worked VERY well together and he added even more life to the Gazette (if that's even possible?) :)
I can see where some may say Martin is full of shtick but I found it funny as hell! He even had a funny line about the apples in the "fruit club" episode and not many got out of that one alive!:D
