Ever hear a joke or reference that you don't understand... but you're too ashamed to admit that you dont get it? Yeah, well that's what this thread is about.

For starters here's my 'Elenor', the one that I never got. You know how in every shitty sitcom that's existed in the past 10 years they always have shitty writters who can't be original so they always write this scene in at some point. Some "wacky" second tier character is put in the position to tell a joke and they always say There once was a man from Nantucket... then a John Ritter or Anthony Clark type of actor cuts them off in disapproval. I only seconds ago learned what the rest of that limerick was.

Family Guy jokes have boggled the minds of several viewers but I've understood most of them so far except for one. I'm not sure what they were referencing in the episode where Peter is trying to catch Daggermouth and as they're comming up to his cave there's a character on the rocks with abnormally long arms who says a rhyme. What or who are they suppose to be making fun of?

That's from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life, possibly the funniest and most offensive (I'd say topping out even Life of Brian.) I was so happy that I got that joke when I saw that episode.

There are plenty of jokes I didn't get at the time, but remembered them so later in life when I understood them, I'd get them. However, once I got them, I just forgot them, so cant post any :(

I got one. It puzzled me so much I actually made a thread in thebroken forum about it.

At the end of thebroken Episode 4, during the credits, "Experienced Cockateel Trainer: Leo Laporte", scrolls by. What the **** does that mean?

Life of Brian and Meaning of Life were offensive...?Only if you are a devout Catholic ... "every sperm is sacred, every sperm is good ..."

That makes since, I've never been able to enjoy Monty Python so I haven't seen any of that before.

Only if you are a devout Catholic ... "every sperm is sacred, every sperm is good ..."

Does that mean every devout Catholic teenage boy has to go to confession for every nocturnal emission? Man, that's got to be a tough conversation.

Oh, man! This is totally going to lead to a fight between Klitzy and the Mod. Should be good.

In other news, I "get" everything. No humor escapes me.
