Ever hear a joke or reference that you don't understand... but you're too ashamed to admit that you dont get it? Yeah, well that's what this thread is about.
For starters here's my 'Elenor', the one that I never got. You know how in every shitty sitcom that's existed in the past 10 years they always have shitty writters who can't be original so they always write this scene in at some point. Some "wacky" second tier character is put in the position to tell a joke and they always say There once was a man from Nantucket... then a John Ritter or Anthony Clark type of actor cuts them off in disapproval. I only seconds ago learned what the rest of that limerick was.
Family Guy jokes have boggled the minds of several viewers but I've understood most of them so far except for one. I'm not sure what they were referencing in the episode where Peter is trying to catch Daggermouth and as they're comming up to his cave there's a character on the rocks with abnormally long arms who says a rhyme. What or who are they suppose to be making fun of?
