We still have no idea what it's about...alien? We could see part of a huge monster and the shadows of two "aliens" in the trailer.

It seems that it will be a good movie, I am getting more excited:D

my guess is that it is another Godzilla Movie and the studio's are keeping it hush hush until a week or so b4 its release : )

This movie is coming up fast! Every time I hear about this movie, I think about it being some big summer blockbuster and forget it's released in January of next year.

I'm definitely excited for it, but I think that because of so little information, the movie's premise will probably not go in line with what I want it to be so I'll be disappointed when I finally know what it's really about.

Not aliens. Those are guys in hazmat suits. There are some press pictures circulating elsewhere that clearly show this.

I've been wondering about this movie for a while.
Not so sure, I'm gonna get all hyped up to see it. Maybe I'll feel differently when Jan. rolls around.

The fact that its a monster movie takes away all the scare factor (srsly no one is actually afraid of Godzilla), which is the whole point of the camcorder-style filming. Now if it was a zombie movie using camcorder style, it could be creepy.

I'm really excited for this movie. I have a friend who worked on this film and have been relentlessly trying to get info from him about it. He's been pretty tight lipped... which makes me want to see it even more.

why? i'm not trying to be mean but it seems you are just setting your self for a fall. it'll never be a great as it is in your mind. the more you buy the hype the more let down you are going to be.

no. but if you are about to tell me how great it was, that doesn't really mean anything. just because a guy did good by a tv show doesn't mean he will make a good movie. apples and oranges.

btw isn't everyone's big complaint about lost is that the plot just keeps getting more complex without clearing anything up? do you really want that in a movie?

yeah i was being a dick using the very argument i just dismissed. good eye on seeing that. ;)

but i still think this movie is getting too much hype. like i said(wrote) if you buy in to it you will just be disappointed.

note on the movie. my boss asked me about it last week. i told him it was independence day part 2. now i could be wrong but i bet you i'm not.
