Oh my gosh.....Kinda Funny Kinda Sad

Are you ever out in the cold when you smell a kind of fiery smell? Well it's usually just someone's chimney but last night I kept saying "Boy, it smells like hot sausage out here". It really did smell good but I figured it was just someones fire place or chimney. Turns out it was a huge pig farm on fire in Burlington County. Now, I'm kinda like "LOL". So don't go crazy saying it's a cruel thing to say but it really did smell like bacon or sausage. Kinda funny considering I was saying that the night before........ Just a crazy/kinda funny thing......:eek:

EDIT: The funny was from me. I threw the sad in there for anyone who thought that I was being a jerk or just cruel. Hey they end up on my plate anyway. LOL.

Well yeah, of course I do feel sorry for them. It's a shame. Oh yeah, don't go taking those religious shots at people, it doesn't work. It has nothing to do with "loving you neighbor". First off does that show that I don't love my neighbor? No. Second, it was miles and miles away. Didn't even know the place so ease up pal.

Well, honoring a request from the OP to close a thread isn't written down anywhere. I would give you the same consideration. Although I'm often guilty of it, there is a general forum etiquette against hijack thread.

i think some of you really need to go back to school. of course any replies to this thread are unnecessary. so is the thread and even the website if you think about it. the fact that all of this is unnecessary makes that argument moot.

nothing ironic happened. smelling burning pork flesh then finding out a pig farm is on fire isn't ironic. it makes sense. irony is when the opposite of an expected event happens.

True, but there is a fine line between speaking your mind and trolling. The postings I've encountered in this thread thus far are borderline trolling.
