Most people listen to something when online. I don't listen to podcasts because I always drift off when Im typing and get lost in the conversation. I prefer music.

Im listening to:

Band: The Smiths

Song: This Charming Man

We have this thread already, no?

At the moment...

"Ayeshteni" by Natacha Atlas is playing. Pretty awesome and iTunes tells me Cul De Sac's "Sakhalin" is next up. Neat.

Interesting...
The only Churros I ever really liked were homemade by a friend's mother back in High School. She didn't fry them, I wonder if this is the same recipe.

The Lovelites' "How Can I Tell My Mom & Dad (That I Been Bad)".

Pop music perfection.

How can I tell my mom and dad
That I?ve been bad
How can I tell my mom and dad
That I?ve been bad

Will they understand
How much I love that man
And oh, will they ever know
How much he?s hurt me so

I know I was a fool
To be loved by you
But I?ve got to find a way
But what can I say

(Somebody please) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Help me explain, help me explain) That I?ve been bad
(This misery) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Oh, please) That I?ve been bad

He told me that he loved me
And that our love was true
Oh, but when we made me mother-to-be
He disappeared on me

Now I?m so ashamed
?Cause you quit the game
And left me here to be
In all this misery

(Somebody please) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Help me explain, help me explain) That I?ve been bad
(This misery) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Oh, please) That I?ve been bad

Should I go up to mama
And say, ?Guess what I?ve done? {No-no}
Or disappear in the night
And let them notice I?m gone {No-no}

Or should I go out and do
Somethin? I wouldn?t want to {No-no}
Or stand up like a big girl
And tell ?em about me and you

(Somebody please) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Help me explain, help me explain) That I?ve been bad
(This misery) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Oh, please) That I?ve been bad (Whoa...)

Should I go up to mama
And say, ?Guess what I?ve done? {No-no}
Or disappear in the night
And let them notice I?m gone {No-no}

Or should I go out and do
Somethin? I wouldn?t want to {No-no}
Or stand up like a big girl
And shout about me and you

(Somebody please) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Help me explain, help me explain) That I?ve been bad
(This misery) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Oh, please) That I?ve been bad

(Daddy will be so terrified) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Yes, he will) That I?ve been bad
(Mom?s so upset that she?ll wanna die) How can I tell my mom and dad
(Help me) That I?ve been bad

(How can I tell them I?m a mother-to-be)
How-how-how-how I?ve been bad
(Help me explain to them he does love me)
How-how-how-how I?ve been bad

i bought The Very Best of Bach off of iTunes yesterday and I'm listening to Suite No. 3: Air. great stuff. I've never really listened to classical stuff, but it's great music to put on in the background while at work or reading.
Anyone else into classical? I need some recommendations for stuff. Im looking for some dark and epic music, i find too much of it is upbeat and light (does this make sense?)

This is probably going to sound out of place, with all this indie music goodness, but I have recently recaptured my love of Weezer's Blue Album. I'll be damned if it doesn't rip me back into eighth grade, when I thought they spoke to me and me alone.

As an adult, the music is just as tight and catchy. This has been spinning non-stopped on my iPod (wait...does stuff spin on an iPod?).

Also, I picked up the new Coheed and Cambria, which has been surprisingly solid...one of their better efforts.

Yeah Weezer was great for a little while, I still love Pinkerton. Fantastic stuff there.

That new Coheed is okay, I don't think it's as good as "In keeping secrets" but I'll admit I need to give it a little more time. I like the track Flowers however.

It was definitely a fun album, and you're right, it still is listening to it this long later. To bad they weren't still making that kind of quality *cough* Beverly Hills *cough*. The Sweater Song is amazing.

Listened to the Young America interview of They Might Be Giants last night, so now I'm on a TMBG kick.
