I didn't say anything but you can believe I stared at the reply box for a good long time. Real talk.

I bet Bendis spends a lot of time googling his own name. Seems like the kind of guy who would do that.

What a prima donna! AmIrite?

I think Conor secretly enjoys being called names other then his own.

I'm almost ready to email iFanboy with the subject header "Hellblazer" just to show my support.

That book was excellent this week, and I'm glad Josh talked it up!

Actually, I pretty much agreed with everything this week: Powers was very good, New X-men was a pretty good chapter in the X-over, Cap was its usual excellence, Hawaiian Dick was a lot of fun, Checkmate was the best of its run...the only things i can't agree on are books I didn't read and therefore can't comment on. :)

Josh, you should definitely check out the first two trades of Hawaiian Dick. I especially liked the first one since it has all Steve Griffin art, including the colors and book design.

Did Conor ever give Josh that Action Comics from when Josh was near death? I'm interested to hear what Josh thought(and what Conor thought of this week's continuation of the story).

I did, though I have no idea if he read it. If he did he must not have liked it since he didn't buy the new one.

The second chapter was quite good. Not as startlingly good as the first, but really enjoyable. I might love it more, but I think I'm still in shock from having Johns and Frank on the book. An in-continuity Superman book I'm actually looking forward to??

i can't wait to hear Bendis' voicemail response!!!

maybe this means there could be the possibility of a Bendis interview in the future?!?!?!??

I read it. It was good, but it wasn't really for me. I just can't make myself care about the Legion. Good Superman books aren't unlike JMS books to me. They might start out good, but eventually, they'll make you sad. But I wasn't really looking for a good Superman book, so I might not be the prime audience.

But it was pretty good.

I second the recommendation of the first two trades of Hawaiian Dick. I just picked this up at WWC this year and they are a whole lot of fun. They make me want to see out more stuff by B. Clay Moore.

Another recommend for the person looking for something to get her Dad who was wondering about new comics.

X-Men First Class

How soon they forget.

You know, I've been reading She-Hulk for a while, and I didn't say anything about Ron's error because I don't remember him making it. So yes, this may reveal She-Hulk's low readership, but it also reveals my atrocious listening skills.

Maybe you just missed it while listening at 1.5x speed, Jimski! You're too busy for 1x speed.

How slow we all must seem to you. When you walk down the street does everyone appear to be standing still?

Good episode!

I find it awesome that one listener is looking for comics to get for her dad who is getting back into it.

Makes me wonder why my dad doesn't love me or comics!! *cries*

No but seriously, awesome. Just make sure he stays away from House of M and Civil War.
