So I got free HBO for the weekend and Scream was on. Then I realized I'd never even seen Scream before. I'd seen Scary Movie, but not Scream.

So what movies have you not seen that were either HUGE blockbusters that "everyone saw" (like Titanic) or geek cult movies (like Evil Dead).

I've also never seen Gladiator. Yeah, I know. What's up with that?

Never seen any of the LOTR movies.

Just never got around to it, and fantasy movies usually don't float my boat.

In truth the LOTR books are the rise and destruction of the third reich. I don't read fantacy for the most part, but if there's something good I'll check it. Seeing as the books are considered a bit of a literary milestone you should at least check out the films. My only suggestion is watch them in succession. They do not stand well by themselves. I reality the over all work was 6 books, but moved in to 3 books by the publisher to make them more palatble to the masses. You'll find the story climax to be fairly flat until the true end of all the movies.

I didn't watch the Godfather or Scarface until a few years ago. I thought the Godfather was the most overrated film ever, until I watched Scarface. What a peice of shit that film is. I'll never take advice from wanna be gangsters on MTV's Cribs again.

Is that the one with Jill Kelly and Jenna Jameson where they're trying to make it as singers but the promoter for the biggest club in town is only interested in their "other talents?"

I never saw Forest Gump. When it came out on VHS I got a ton of copies and gave them to everyone I knew who hadn't seen it just so I could have the esteemed title of the only person I know never to have seen Forest Gump.

I'm not religious and I saw The Passion when it was playing in theaters. The film wasn't made to entertain people, it was made to make people money. I dont regret going to see it either.

Sometimes one just feels compelled to kidnap someone and force them to see certain things. This might be one of those cases. :)

Oh - and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but where can I find that monkey-fellatio photo you have as your avatar? Prefereably a bigger one. Is it possible that it's also part of a video?

I want to see some of those movies I just haven't got around to it yet. I'm not sure if it's a part of a video but I do have a bigger photo on my flickr http://static.flickr.com/54/135756928_88f57ae148.jpg?v=0

I'd make a list, but a lot of you have already mentioned a lot of movies I haven't seen yet. The real game is guessing which ones I have. :D I soon hope to remedy this whole mess.

Same here. Religious stuff bores the hell out of me. And if I were religious, I don't see how watching a plotless film of some dude getting snuffed in a foreign language is supposed to be entertaining. Hell, that's the kind of shit they're trying to ban from Youtube!

Some movies I have never seen and never want to see -- partially for the ability to say in another ten years "nope, never seen that - no clue what you're talking about"... like Titanic. Others just seem entirely boring. Might as well sit around watching chick flicks on Lifetime.

I agree to a degree, as I'm usually like that towards Westerns, Chinese period and Fantasy movies.

I'll still give it a chance. I kinda like Brothers Grimm. I did see all the LOTR films, but found them all to be a bit pants really.

I still haven't seen crouching tiger hidden Dragon or Hero. Unlike you I'm not particularly proud or embarrased that I still haven't. I've been surprised by to many movies to dismiss them at first sight.

Actually I'm also not good with old movies, but being the only forum member who watches racing cars go round and round I gave Grand Prix a shot. It's a 1966 film. For F1 geeks it has some totally awesome authenticity, but for any film buff it has some of the most beatiful cinematography. To give you any incentive to watch it Frankenhaimer also directed the carchase scenes in Ronin ;) It was better then driven :P

I have yet to see Citizen Cane :(

What you guys don't know is Seumas is actually a very big My Little Pony movie fan and has been sad since the days it was canceled. Don't you worry Seumas, I'm petitioning Hollywood everyday for the live action version! Hell lets make it a musical!

Have a nice day my fellow dromers, you assholes.

i tried but i couldn’t think of any, so i wiki’ed the top 50 grossing movies and the only one i haven’t seen was the Da Vinci Code, which i’m sure i’ll see once it comes out on DVD.

i looked up AFI’s top 100 films and found about dozen i haven’t seen, mostly pre-1950s stuff like Yankee Doodle Dandy.

i guess the biggest stand out is the Exorcist (even though i’ve seen most of the sequels). made a promise to someone when i was young never to watch it and it kind of just stuck.

Just a few of the big movies I have never seen, nor plan to see, and my friends seem to think it is a character flaw:

The Sixth Sense
All of the Harry Potter movies
Never seen any of the Adam Sandler movies. None of them.
Never saw any of the natural disaster movies. Don't even know their names off the top of my head. The meteor one, the tornado one, etc etc.

I'm a movie elitist. A movie needs to make me feel smart, or rather, shouldn't make me feel dumb, for me to want to go see it.

If you've seen one Adam Sandler movie you've seen them all. So I recomend you watch Happy Gilmore. It's the best one of the bunch by far IMO. It's OK to put the brain to rest sometimes ;)

Punch Drunk love was supposed to be the Adam Sandler movie that wasn't Adam Sandler movie. Just because Rob Schneider wasn't in it it still was an Adam Sandler Movie. He plaid the same andry as **** dude who found the need to speak like a retard.

I haven't seen Spider man 2

And this is why I love you, Invader... err, sandstone...

I also watched Godfather 2 times, and didn't care for it. However, I still dont understand how people love Rocky so much. It's stalone, whining for 2 hours, getting a chick that never says anything and is ugly as hell, and then losing the ****ing fight. WTS Rocky.

Rocky is probably one of the most inspirational movies ever made and Conti's score is legendary. Let's not diss the Italian Stallion. Mmmmmmmmmmmkay?

Inspirational? All it taught me was that no matter how hard you try, you're gonna FAIL. And then you get the ugly chick.
