People are pissed because KITT is not a Transam? GM don't make a car that could even come close to a modern day KITT, and while the TransAm mght have been the hot car to use back then, these days most of them are rusted out complete POS sitting up on blocks in trailer parks across America.

Damn right im pissed its not a trans am. Im more pissed that you cant turn your head these days without some corpse from the past being dug up and having a stick shoved up its butt and wiggled around so it apears to dance again. Its so hard at this point to applaud anyone who cant think for themselves and come up with new ideas, good lord i just had 3 while writing this that a competent writer could make into a show or a movie. Naa, this backsliding has no support from me. I mean if your gonna backslide, at least rip it off right and make kitt a firebird or if not a firebird ( i admit the newest ones are bleh ) then make it real interesting.

I'm not even a real car person but the '70 Challenger just makes me drool. I've always been a Challenger fan.

That particular car is from the (cancelled) show "Drive" with Nathan Fillion. Shame it was cancelled. It wasn't perfect but it was damn entertaining and Nathan was awesome.

well first off there isn't a new firebird. they haven't made the firebird in years. second i'm sure this is all about marketing (unlike the original show). the produces went to car makers asking for sponsorship. gm declined. ford didn't.

You guys do realize that it's Hollywood and they can make a body kit, right? Choosing a Mustang is just product placement, it's stupid and I hate it and I hope KITT dies in the film.
