I have noticed a lot of shows that are being canceled. And then, their is also shows that are just not being produced. This reminds me of a certain tv station, namely G4... Maybe im just really board and have nothing else to do. O, btw what ever happened to Dan Huard?

I think that a bunch of the normal hosts are starting new shows. Look at Martin Sergeant, with Web Drifter. Now that it has been started up again, he doesn't probably have enough time to film both.

Dan Huard is a full time Digg employee

Shows get cancelled. All good things come to an end. Even shows that are consistantly good performers eventully end out of pure fatigue.

It's not a plot or a sign of weakness. It's a fact of media reality.

What other shows besides Infected are being cancelled?
If it's a lot of them, then it's TechTV all over again for me -- I discovered TechTV, and started watching it all of the time, RIGHT before the sale to Comcast. Just when I found a TV network worth watching, it went under.

IMO it looks like media problems, like someone else said before me fatigue.

It'll never turn into G4, G4 is trying to become a popular channel such as MTV, VH1, and Fox. All they air is Cops, who wants to watch a show thats been passed from every network imaginable within the span of 15 years.

You know, if it wasn't for the fact that G4 will always be associated with the demise of TechTV, I would actually like it a lot....
Sure, they show WAAAY too much crap (namely, Cops), but they DO have some shows that are above-average. That is, the types of shows that sort of cater to my interests.

Attack of the Show, X-Play, Cinematech, their various specials....Hell, even Code Monkeys and Ninja Warrior are watchable to me. Too bad every time I get to turn the channel on, it's friggin' Cheaters, Cops, and The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.

This thread is so funny. Infected was cancelled because it was a horrible show. It got 38 downlods last month.

Lots of creators, new media and otherwise, hit a wall or run into creative exhaustion at some point. To me, it's just a natural part of the cycle of making content. Old things get stale, new things pop up, and so on and so on.

but then again, it's funny to me cuz we think so alike with the randomness and weird shit, good times good times
