i didnt think that this game looked like any fun much less worth the 10 bucks it costs. but for some unknown reason i just had to check it out.
this game is really fun and really funny. not quite as big of an unexpected hit that Portal was for me earlier this year but close. this game is full of raunchy humor, nerd references(as in revenge of the), and loads of funny easter eggs. i have played this game almost non-stop since i got it a few hours ago and am thoroughly satisfied.
if got this game feel free to share your thoughts on it or any cool things you might have found while playing.
this game may not be for everyone. but i can see it being a great game to play on a night of drinking with your buddies.

I got this game as soon as it went up on the PSN as I had been looking forward to it for a while. It really is addictive fun (I'm hooked on 'Mime Toss') but it also feels a little half assed to me.
For starters, there is only one map to play on, obviously more will become available down the road as downloadable content, but I paid 10 bucks for this game, I expected more than one level.
Secondly, there are only 2 characters you can use, there are 2 more to choose from in the menu, but you have to buy them for $1 each. Obviously they were finished when the game was released, why not include them. Sure there are different costumes to unlock, and the different characters don't really add anything, but c'mon, stop counting pennies and give your loyal and long-suffering fanbase a break here Sony.
Thirdly, you can't save your replays. What is the point of building a 'Pain Community' if we can't save and upload our replays for all to see? And why is it that when I click on the community button in the game menu, it takes me to the Pain website, where none of the videos actually work in the Playstation browser, did anyone actually test this game?
Finally, and most importantly, there is no online multiplayer! This is simply unforgivable in this day and age. Why any developer who makes a multiplayer game would fail to include online modes is simply incomprehensible. All the other complaints could be forgiven if this title came out with online capabilities, but without it, it just feels unfinished. They can't even say it's been rushed, this game has been previewed since before the PS3 was released. Tut tut Sony.
Having said all that, there is planty of awards to unlock and can be a lot of fun, for now. I just don't know how long that will last...

I downloaded it on Thursday, but didn't have time to play 'til this morning. It seemed dull during the first few parts of the Crash Course, but is rather addictive once you get into it. Admittedly, I did spend the $ .99 for Cookie...if I'm going to be watching and listening to the same character flying through the air and making noises, it may as well be a female voice.
The 1 level and 2 characters thing with more available at cost is a bit irritating though.
